Went out for a drive from Richlands Va about an hour and a half and decided to eat at the Coal Camp Cafe in Rock West Va. The homemade food like the beans and cornbread was delicious at a very reasonable price and the staff very friendly. If your driving or RVing stop here, have a great meal, great cheeseburger and onion rings, and visit the huge gift shop. The cafe is a historic landmark

We stopped here for lunch after a great morning on Indian Ridge trails. I had the beans and cornbread, my husband had the chicken Philly cheesesteak. Both were delicious! We sat outside on the picnic tables outside the company store. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Would stop by again for sure!!

Ate here last weekend and the food was good. Seemed fresh and homemade. No beans and cornbread that day, tho. Chicken sandwich was really good. Luckily there was an open table, because they don't have too many tables.

Got the margarita pizza. All it had on it was very little red sause, cheddar cheese and dried rosemary. The crust was done but it wasn't even warm.
Took a very long time for the amount of tables sat. 3 other couples and a party of 6. We where there start to Finnish almost 2 hours! Off season I get it. Thankfully they where open. Would I stop there again? Depending on our time schedule Absolutely would do it again.

Made a few midday stops here for cold drinks and snacks while we were out and about on the trails. This place has pretty much anything you could ask for whether it comes down to hydrating yourself or lubricating your engine. Very convenient to be able to make one stop if you need to and get just about anything you could ask for. And get just about anything you could ask for.
