We just needed a bed basically since we were up in Cloverdale for the half marathon, so this seemed like a good deal compared to most. Its your basic motel, you get a clean bed, clean bathroom and a tv, not much else. It is in a good location to be able to walk to the restaurants and shops in town. The room we were in seemed recently updated. It is a bit noisy as it doesn't really seem like it has insulated walls or anything. The guy behind the window was straight forward and easy to deal with. This place did seem to have some questionable characters staying here, but thankfully they didn't cause any headaches for us. Not a bad place if you just need a bed and shower for about 8 hours.

Cloverdale Oaks Inn, unfortunately we stayed there as we couldn’t find any others. Had no internet to check up on first . Seemed alright at reception. Price was $104.50 as a walk in. No breakfast in that. Got a room out the back, room was smelly as thou shut up for a while, air con working cover was broke & dirty. Bathroom was tiny, towels were small & thin. Window screen was ripped. Curtains on room were uneven by about 4”s . No clock or tissues. Floor is vinyl & dirty as we spilt water as we cleaned it up the paper was filthy. For $100 not worth it. Ice machine still not working as stated in other posts. Mentioned all this to the office next morning, they couldn’t have cared less, rather defensive blamed previous guests. Also claim they have super fast wifi, that’s crap to, could even use it, no connection TERRIBLE SERVICE & ATTITUDE Dont go there.

Honestly I have never left a negative review. I’ve traveled some and to be honest this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I’m saddened to say it’s in Sonoma County in the beautiful wine country. It was Horrible, filthy and I WISH I read the reviews! It was late I needed a place to be that night. I couldn’t find another place to stay that was avalible. The room had a strong oder of mold. The lighting was dim so I did not see the full disgusting effect until the morning when I had full sunlight in the room. The bathroom shower was horrifying with black mold on the soap dispenser, dirty footprints on the shower floor, and hair stuck on the walls. The shower curtain had at least 6 inches high of yellowing and look like it’s never been washed. The lampshades by the bed were dented. The front of the fridge was filthy. There was dust all over the coffee pot. There’s paint on the mirrors as though they just slapped the paint on the walls. There wasn’t a lock on the door inside that was functional. It goes on. I took photos and I also reported them to the BBB. I did have communication with the owners wanting a refund. They refused. I was very disappointed because Cloverdale is such a sweet town. I am still very upset about my stay. I wouldn’t give them any stars but in order to post this I had to give them one.

This place is a nightmare. I booked a room there after getting evacuated from my home due to wildfires and in a panic I accidentally booked the following night. This very scary middle eastern man was incredibly rude to me and even came after me banging on my car window while I sitting in my car trying to find another hotel. I was terrified of him. How could a man do that to a vulnerable woman who was alone and scared? Then just to make the experience truly unbelievable, he charged my credit card $192 and wouldn’t issue a refund. What kind of human being is that ugly?

Room was clean. But it was well past its prime by a few years, the bathroom was the same (cracked sink and a cracked cistern). Worst of all though, the 'high speed internet' that was advertised did not work. We mentioned this to the front desk but nothing was done about it. The network was also not password protected, so if it did work, anyone in the vicinity could log in.
In summary, the room was clean, but the whole thing was very overpriced for what it turned out to be.

This was just disgusting...filthy and unacceptable. Demanded a refund when I saw the room and was given one promptly. Don't stay here, even if it's the last room in town. Beds were old as the hills and the pillows little piles of lumps; curtains falling off the rods, bathroom was straight out of the 1950's and filthy; only electrical outlet that wasn't being used was loose and nothing would stay plugged in; shower head in the turquoise fiberglass filthy shower was shorter than me, and I'm 5' 3"...keep going!

We came late evening, and had read some good reviews on the internet....we came to the place and we paid 110 USD for two adults and two kids. The room and bathroom was so dirty! I will set in pictures later! But want to avoid people to go there - everything was in bad condition, dirty, the wifi didn't work (they write high-speed wifi) and no breakfast (wouldn't have ate everything even they had it). DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!

Its clean, quiet and Im usually there to sleep one night. I only gave it 4 stars because the sink has more pressure than the showers which are installed at a level of comfortability for someone 4ft or shorter. I had to kneel to wash my head and Im only 6ft. In all though I come back every year
