We were visiting Cambridge for a family reunion on a beautiful fall weekend. This place was recommended by a family member as a unique experience. It looked charming from the outside but when we stepped into the Log Cabin Suite, we were amazed at the fun and immersive experience they have created. What a blast! Log walls, bear decorations and our own personal hot tub! We understood the rooms come with breakfast but we were not expecting to have customized gourmet dishes prepared for us every day: eggs benedict, hawaiian french toast and greek omelettes to name a few. Owners Jeff and Linda are a great pair: he is the chef and she is the decorator and that adds up to a superlative, gracious and fun experience in a charming rural place. We can hardly wait to go back!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Cambridge House Bed and Breakfast. We LOVED our time there! Jeff and Linda are gracious hosts who treat you like friends from the first visit there. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Our breakfast was amazing and presented well. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place!

This was our second visit to Cambridge House, as a weekend getaway touring the Clay Collective pottery artists tour. The hospitality from Jeff and Linda was great, as was the breakfast. The room we stayed in is called the Log Cabin room, is on the second floor, with it's own entrance, private bathroom, and private jacuzzi. The room has a north woods, log cabin style decor. Bear themed objects and motifs are seen throughout the room. Our hosts even has a treat waiting for us when we arrived (fresh baked cookies). The house is located on the edge of downtown Cambridge, within walking distance of restaurants and businesses. We highly recommend a stay at Cambridge House.

What a delightful experience. A very charming B&B managed by a wonderful host. She made our stay very comfortable in all regards. We had booked a king-sized bed, and the room was enormous. The en-suite bathroom was very large and has a great shower. Breakfast, which she made from an ancient Betty Crocker cook book (page 202) I think she said was wonderful as were the blueberry muffins. We plan to stay there again.

While I am generally not a big fan of B&B's, this one came highly recommended so my wife and I booked a room for 3 nights. Might have changed the way I think of B & B's. As another reviewer said, It was like staying with old friends. Jeff and Linda were attentive to our needs and schedule; Jeff was accommodating on our late arrival. Jeff has training as a chef and also worked in a restaurant in Chicago. The breakfasts were very inventive and were delicious and Jeff obviously enjoyed and took pride in his culinary skills. The presentation was professional. I do wish that "regular coffee" had been offered as an alternative to the hazel nut flavored coffee. The room we stayed in had a queen bed (though there is at least one room that has a King) and it was well appointed and very comfortable. Though it is right on the main drag in Cambridge, the street noise was not too much. Finding it in the dark was easy and parking is ample. It has a beautiful garden, complete with gazebo, had we had time to take advantage of it. The Inn was clean and welcoming. Great cookies and candy jars filled with chocolates. We'll definitely be back.

Once again Jeff and Linda have achieved a prestigious award from their dedicated customers. Madison Magazine has awarded them 2016 Best of The Burbs. Our most recent time with them was extremely enjoyable as always. ||Jeff's culinary skills really shine at Breakfast and he always manages to toss in a side of humor. ||Linda is a very gracious hostess and always does her best to see that we are well taken care of every time we visit.||The rooms are all beautiful, recently updated and the Log Cabin Room is our favorite.

My husband and I have stayed at Cambridge House several times when we visit friends in Cambridge. Jeff and Linda always greet us warmly when we arrive. We've stayed in several different rooms and have always been very comfortable. The evening snacks that are left out for us are delicious and a perfect way to end the day. But, the real draw for us is the breakfast. Fresh fruit...perfectly ripened and cut for easy eating. A spin on Eggs Benedict with country ham, mushrooms, fresh tomato and chive. It was delicious! We are not typically big breakfast people, but this one has come up in conversation several times since we were there. If you find yourself in Cambridge, I highly recommend Cambridge House. I would also encourage you to check out some of the beautiful pottery in the area. Cambridge Wood-Fired pottery is a particular favorite. 😃
