Room was very nice, clean and recently updated. Staff was very helpful and had a lot of great suggestions on local hiking trails and must see day trips. Location was great and views from the hotel were magnificent. Dark skies so stargazing was also very fun. I went in December, no crowds and temps were chilly but once sun came up it was quite comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this neat motel - great location to stay after Antelope Canyon and before kayaking from Lee’s Ferry. The onsite restaurant was really good (we had dinner and breakfast there) And their cocktails were tasty too. This place is not fancy, but it was clean and we loved sitting out under the stars, in what felt like the middle of nowhere. There is a cool old trading post next door, with neat rocks and rock structures that we enjoyed walking around. Staff was friendly and they have a little convenience store onsite. It was a refreshing stay compared to the alternative of staying in Page in a chain hotel with no character

What a great short trip and stay at cliff dwellers! Staff was friendly (shout out to Dave in the fly shop), room was clean and had good water pressure, also surprisingly tasty food at the restaurant. Bonus, there are slot canyons and great fishing right outside the door and also a well-curated fly shop onsite. I generally shy away from lodges in favor of small places or camping, was pleasantly surprised by Cliff Dweller which had a welcoming feel for a solo traveler — already thinking about another trip back with my bro (lots of water to explore).

I stayed in Room 4 of the old section that is attached to the restaurant. Although it is quite rustic and really dated, I loved it! I stayed in a lot of hotels during my trip and actually enjoyed this one the most because of it's awesome location and the relaxed atmosphere. Staff was great and besides the fact that some older lady mistakenly tried to get in my room, I felt safe as a solo traveler. It's located right off the main road, but was very quiet and great for sleeping. The food at the restaurant was delicious and I was glad they have a gas pump there to fill-up. I would definitely stay here again.

I have been staying with you guys for several years for my yearly kayak trip down the Colorado river. It was always a glorious place, but this time it was even better. I’m not sure what changed, but the food was even better, the service was impeccable, and the beds were very comfortable. Special shout out to Azalea, the best server I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back.

Cliff Dwellers was a great place to stay while we visited the north rim of the Grand Canyon. The rooms were small but plenty of room for three adults. The fridge and small freezer were perfect for keeping our food cold. The ceilings in our room (room 5) were low and would likely require you to bend down if you are over 6’5”. We did see a few bugs in our room, but that is understandable given the remote location. The restaurant was excellent for a big meal after a day of hiking.

I was going to stay at Marble Canyon Lodge, but booked a river trip with Kayak Horseshoe Bend and decided to try Cliff Dwellers because it’s their partner. I regret that decision. The room wasn’t clean. Many of the fixtures were updated (sink, toilet, shower head) which was nice, however, simple cleaning duties were overlooked. The inside of the room door and surrounding door jam was filthy. A Magic Eraser would fix it. There was a stain on our sheets. The shower was tiny and old with what looked like rust stains up and down the inside seams. I wasn’t expecting a resort, but these are easy fixes and I’m not sure how this is a three star property.
Also, the power was out when we checked in. With a hotel and a restaurant on site in a remote spot, it seems like having a generator is a must. We ended up driving 45 minutes to Paige for dinner. No apologies from management, no discount, not a word about it when we checked out.
I wouldn’t stay here again.
