We stay at Clementine's every time we go to Astoria for an overnight or multi-day stay- we love the atmosphere of the rooms, and the location is perfect for walking to almost anywhere in Astoria. We always try to get the Peony Suite because it has a great sitting area to look out at the river. For the price, it's much more fun than a chain hotel! The only issue for some people may be the steep stairs to get up to the hotel from the street.

We went for our anniversary and stayed in the Moose Lodge. The place was well equipped and very conveniently located. There is a gas fireplace that was wonderful when we came in from the cold. We walked to everything in town. It was surprisingly quiet at night given how close in it is. Judith is an excellent host.

We had a wonderful time staying at Clementine's this past weekend. Our rooms were spacious, well furnished, and very cozy. I loved the unique loft space with the view and will have fond memories of the garden in the mornings. I'd very much recommend!

The property is a funky, old sweet place with a lot of history. Accommodations are clean and well maintained. A lovely place. This was our second stay. My only complaint is that website claims to be a Bed and Breakfast. There is no breakfast. We weren’t told this until we arrived. They need to update their site to honestly advertise. No apology from the manager.

We stayed here for our anniversary and Stephanie added the sweetest welcome for us! Thank you for the personal touch 🥰

We chose the Peony Suite for the fireplace, bay window, private balcony, and view of the river. Absolutely worth every penny!

Astoria kindly gave us the perfect weather of rainy and chilly (perfect for us to snuggle up in the robes and watch the rain), and brisk and sunny (perfect for wrapping up in the room's plush blankets and watching the boats go by)! Everything was walkable, Astoria's food, bars, and hiking never disappoints.

Either we were the only ones there that weekend, or the old Victorian manages to be quite sound proof. If you enjoy a building with history you can feel (and maybe a bit of spooks), this is the place for you. Almost like we were tucked into a room of the Flavel house around the corner!

This was our second stay in about 15 years. And it will continue to be our go to place to stay in Astoria! Thank you Judith and crew for making it so comfortable and pleasurable as we celebrated my husband's birthday. Such nice touches in the room (the one with 2 beds, which was nice to be in, affording us a little more room to stretch out). Comfy bed, loved sitting in the front window watching the ships and the weather.

If you’re after a packaged and traditional hotel room this is not the place for you. We love lodging that offer a unique and personal experience like Clementine’s guest house. We’re not afraid of hefting our bags upstairs, especially if we are greeted by a lovely room and a lovely view.

When we visit somewhere, a nice place to sleep and wake up is icing on the cake—not usually the objective of the visit—and we truly were able to enjoy the comfortable bed, the pretty room, the view, and the little personal touches (fruit, coffee, chocolates, and good soap!) Clementine’s offered.

It’s also superbly located for getting to the many sights in Astoria. We hope to return.

We stayed here for my birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time! The suite was mostly very comfortable. The bed didn't cause us any issues! Using their supplied abundance of fans we were able to stay very comfortably cool. We enjoyed time out on the back patio and enjoyed having our own private entrance. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do and could usually find parking nearby.
