I highly recommend this 3 room Inn, located on the Mississippi River, in Clayton Iowa. The rooms are large and immaculate, and the bed was so comfortable! Each room has a microwave and refrigerator and coffee maker, and other nice touches, such as a rocking chair. A full breakfast is included, and it was delicious. The Innkeeper was friendly and helpful and made sure we were happy with our room, etc. A full menu bar & grill, Bills Boat Landing, is just across the road ... We had dinner there, (it was very good, too), so after we arrived, we could kick back and relax ... No need to drive anywhere else. If you're traveling up the Great River Road, get off the beaten path and check out the Claytonian !

I can only rate based on it's appearance & location. Only open in summer. Was not open yet when we stopped by. Awesome view. Has 2 great bars/restaurants next door.
