Okay so first of all, the name doesn’t do this place justice. Yes the food is ā€œclassicā€ AND it has a bit of an edge as the owner, Tony, has infused his Native New Orleans/Cajun flare to many of the dishes! We’ve eaten there for weekend brunch and evening dinner. I’ve even gone in the middle of the afternoon with a friend. Not once have we been disappointed by the food, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, or the music selection in the background. One must not go there without trying the Beignets!! Oh and the Bread Pudding DOES NOT have raisins—just as it should be!

I had a genuinely great experience here. From the moment I walked in, the hospitality stood out. The service was excellent—5/5. Staff were warm, attentive, and professional, striking the perfect balance between being available and giving space. It felt like they truly cared about providing a good experience, and it showed throughout the evening.

The highlight of the meal was without question the jambalaya grits—an easy 5/5. Rich, creamy, and deeply flavorful, the dish was a perfect balance of comfort and decadence. The shrimp and sausage were perfectly seasoned, and the grits had a silky texture that tied everything together beautifully. It’s the kind of dish that leaves a lasting impression.

The atmosphere was inviting and well thought-out—4/5. The space had a great energy without being too loud, with lighting and decor that created a relaxed but vibrant setting. A few small touches could elevate it even more, but overall, it made for a very enjoyable environment to dine in.

Cost comes in at 4/5. It’s a bit on the higher end, but considering the quality of the food and service, it felt fair. You’re paying for more than just a meal—you’re getting a well-rounded experience.

Final thoughts: This is a spot that really delivers. Great service, memorable food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back—and recommending it to others who are looking for something a little special without feeling over-the-top.

Overall: 4.5/5.

Omg! I am written this review from the table! This food is absolutely delectable! We had a large party (14ppl)on a Saturday morning. Even though they don't take reservations we were able to call and let them know we were coming. We were seated with ease. Evan took care of us with ease! We will definitely make the trip and come back.

What a wonderful brunch my bestie and I had at Classic Eats over the weekend. From the time we entered and were greeted by a handsome gentleman to when we were seated, our drink and food orders were taken and served, our service was impeccable! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It is everything you could ask for and more, and I love the ambiance and mango mimosa too, yummy! I will definitely go back again and again!

Awesome brunch spot. Staff is super friendly, and food comes out quick. I love shrimp and grits, but i was recommended the jambalaya with cheesy grits. It was šŸ”„. My wife got a bacon omlet, and it was loaded with crispy bacon. Our friends got the french toast triple stack, and the steak with eggs (steak was huge). Topped off brunch with double prickly pear mimosas for $8 each. Can't say enough good things about this place. 100% recommend and will be back!

This is our favorite breakfast and brunch spot in Burien! I love the Jambalaya Grits, the pancakes, an me the original breakfast with cokes with eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. They make a solid cup of coffee and have tea and other drinks. They have a signature mimosa if you’re trying to get after it. It’s real nice and honestly the food feels high end but it still have classic diner feel. All of the staff were great!

Great breakfast food, recently moved from Texas and was needing some grits fix and this place definitely hit the spot. I had the Jumbalaya grits which were phenomenal, definitely enough to feed two people.
