We chose to stay here after reading Google reviews. There were many good reviews, along with some less than positive reviews. What impressed me was that the team at Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn was responsive. They answered people's reviews. I like the idea that if everything isn't perfect, the location will work to fix problems.

Our stay was good. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable, though the appearance is a bit dated. The blanket on the bed is the softest one that I have ever felt.

The breakfasts are really good. These are cooked just for you. When you are looking for a place to stay, remember that these breakfasts are worth eating and save you money when compared to going to a restaurant.

The location is good. We were close enough to downtown Sonoma that we could have walked to restaurants; however, it was rainy and cold, so we drove.

We did have a few small issues. The team was very responsive in addressing the things that came up.

We had a lovely stay at Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn, specifically in the Ms. Holiday Room. The inn has such a cozy, homey feel that made us instantly comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start the day. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. My husband accidentally broke a wine glass, they were so understanding and didn’t charge us for it, which we really appreciated. It’s the little touches like this that make a stay memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm welcoming getaway!

Guys. It's right off the road. Google map it. You hear every car going by. If it's a mustang gt, God be with you. The mustangs muffler will wake you up in seconds flat. Staff is pleasant enough, including the cranky ole buzzard sitting in the chair all night telling tall tales about how cool he was in high school. The property is well furnished, breakfast is fine. Most reviews are a little bias, we all understand that, just pull out your phone, Google map it. The property sits literally 25 yards from a highway 12. A major highway. Just drink alot of coffee and stay up all night and try to differentiate the wide variety of muffler systems zooming by. No big deal.

We had an amazing time & all staff was more than sweet & accommodating. For the price of hotels in the area we chose here because it was the lowest price, don’t expect spas and big tubs or anything frilly but free wine, a little midday snack & breakfast included is pretty stellar for the price. The property is beautiful and definitely older but NOT unclean and not unloved. When I came into our room the first day it honestly still smelled of disinfectant so the folks who complained about that seriously don’t even second guess that. Additionally while it is next to a busy road it is honestly not that loud unless you were a really light sleeper.

This would be a cute spot for events or micro weddings but I have friends in the area and found this to be a great space to use for our travels!!

Only points off for some dated things that could use attention around but honestly really good overall 🙂

The place is simple, clean, and the staff is super nice. Breakfast super cute, glass of wine upon arrival … very nice special touches. It is also very close to downtown and conveniently located.

We stayed here last weekend and had a lovely time. Our little ones enjoyed running around on the patio (such a beautiful place to enjoy a cup of coffee or have lunch). Service was excellent. Happy hour and breakfast were thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. We'll definitely be back!

Drove to Sonoma for a family birthday and was excited to try this inn. We were checked in and greeted by a very nice person and then shown to our suite which was directly connected to the warm lobby. I don't think I've ever felt a colder hotel room in my life. I immediately came back out and asked why the rooms were so cold (no thermostat in living room or bedroom). She said she would "turn up the thermostat" She knew that wouldn't happen/help. It was soon obvious that the rooms are never heated. She then said there was a space heater in one of the closets. Seriously (The fireplace was non-functional).||||We turned the space heater on from that time (6 pm) and left it on all night, moving it from room to room depending on where we were at the time. It did little to help. The bed had no blanket/comforter/duvet, just a very thin polyester bedspread. We found four throws in the various closets to put on the bed during the night. Absolutely ridiculous to expect someone to stay in rooms this cold and uninviting.||||I'd never received so many texts/e-mails from an inn/hotel prior to a stay - at least 10 I'd say. After our stay? Not so much! My response to the e-mail after our stay was unanswered until I wrote again and mentioned that I am a travel agent. I got a response then and again replied. No answer. Will never stay again and obviously won't recommend.||||P.S. This was at the time of the terrible LA fires and was reading an article the night of our stay about the main cause of house fires that people aren't really aware of. It said the cause was dirty exhaust/air filters. I immediately went into the bathroom and looked up the the exhaust fan. It was so dirty I doubt it even functioned. Disgusting!

Absolutely beautiful property with plenty to explore in the back of you like going on mini hikes. Otherwise the main path and exterior lounging areas are so beautiful and almost fairytale style. Inside is always warm clean and welcoming and the individual rooms are amazing with the exception of the mattress quality. The linens are amazing but the mattress themselves could use an upgrade or just a flip
