So we heard great things about this restaurant and we were anticipating superior taste. I think I have a New York pizza complex that makes me a little extreme in my pizza critiques, but that's just us. We ordered the Toscana pizza, which had cheese, mushrooms, and fennel sausage. This sounded great, so we were set on it! Now, was the pizza good? Yes, but Mom, a.k.a. Kmoney, said that the pizza tastes "DIET". 😆 I agreed, even though her explanation made me spit out my water and the last swallow of pizza from the back of my throat. I will say the mushrooms were of superior quality and had a very fresh taste. The sausage was good, but we could barely taste it because we felt we had the last corner. The tomato sauce was very light, and the crust was very thin, by the way, like 1/4 inch thick. This is great because it is very light, and this pizza will not make you waddle around afterward.

Toscana PIZZA: 7.8 out of 10

The food is pricey. We had bruschetta salmon, meat lovers pizza and Vesuvio. The mix of salmon and Gorgonzola cheese is not the best. It was way too salty. Pizza and calzone were okay. Drinking water they served wasn’t fresh. It was unpleasant to drink. They charged extra fee for paying with a credit card.

I paid because I don’t mind paying a little extra. However, Very very overpriced. The food was mediocre but the prices reflected upscale restaurants. The prices must come down or food quality up or this place will go out of business soon. The pizza was not great. Waiter did not refill the drinks, ravioli is in the same category as Olive Garden.

Anything you order there, their pizza and food is pretty good, but for their prices, the food could be a little bigger or better. Very nice atmosphere. They could use a few more employees for better service. But overall, we loved the place, and we weren't in a rush. This is a place where you don't want to rush. It's good to enjoy their food and atmosphere.

Our server was training a new hire during our visit, which was fine. The pizza was exceptional but my dessert ruined by overripe bananas. It was mushy and that taste ruined the whole dish. I told the waitress and she apologized about that, but that was it. The atmosphere is kind of cold and dark. I would give this place another shot if I could guarantee fresh bananas.

I really want to like this place but it's soo hard. Been here 3 times, 1st- had pizza with my husband outside (lovely time). Came back had chicken Alfredo (came with my husband, son & uncle). There was sooooo much sauce it was almost hard to eat, service was ok this time (figured they were busy). This final time I came in with my parents and my son. Hopefully it was the servers 1st day cause he made mistakes ALL NIGHT long. I felt bad at the end of the night, our drink order was incorrect, my son pizza was wrong (they gave him noodles), I wanted mushrooms which were on my dad's plate and my mom's chicken was so hard she couldn't cut it and had to send it back.

Needless to say I won't be spending MY money there but I do think it has great potential. If you sit outside and order pizza i think you'd be ok.

This is in the main part of Verrado in Buckeye. The atmosphere is really nice, as it looks over a nice little park and it's decorated nice on the inside. The service was also good and very attentive. The food was average. My wife and I got individual pizzas and felt like we could have gotten better pizzas at mod pizza or blaze pizza for cheaper. Maybe an off night, but we will try again.

New to the area and love Italian food so was looking forward to trying Ciao Grazie. I sat at the bar and waited a good 10 minutes to be recognized. I ordered the chicken parm. The food was so-so and the portion size was what you would expect on a children's menu.
