BBQ Pork belly and Ribs daily special.

Just ordered a simple cup and bowl of chowder for dinner for my wife and myself. This is THE best chowder I’ve had and honesty really puts Ivars in second place. Bowl of chowder, cup of chowder, 4 rolls, and 2 drinks for less than 15 dollars. Highly highly reccomend!

Chowder Express has a simple menu of bbq meats, soup and sides. However the flavor is on point with a price that rivals or is even better than alot of restaurants in Anchorage. Why spend $10 at McDonald's or any other fast food restaurant when you can get lunch that is lovingly prepared by a passionate chef. Take the time to drive to Mountain View, enjoy Mr. Edgar's beaming personality while he prepares you an awesome lunch.

This place has phenomenal deals for good home cooking. Only $15.99 for the chicken and ribs combo with the yellow rice, cole slaw and rolls. And the chowder is the best I’ve ever had. We showed up right at close and the sweet man who runs the place was so nice. We can’t wait to go back! 5 stars all day long!!!
