Hi,
You get ten Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My husband and I always enjoy coming to China Star to enjoy a Good, HOT, Satisfying meal. Staff is always Courteous and Friendly.
We've visited various restaurants and the food is not hot.
China Star food is hot from the Start and until we're Finished. Burnt the lips and tongue a few times, and that's how it's supposed to be, HOT!
AND, It's close to Home, Just over the Mountain.
So if you're looking for good food and don't stop at China Star, you made a bad choice!
Love this Restaurant.

I called in an order and the lady who answered the phone was super sweet. When I went inside to pick up the food, the guy at the counter was really nice too.
I got the General Tso chicken with rice. Not bad. Decent Meal for the price. It was crunchy and had good flavor but not a whole lot of chicken Meat, mostly breading. Also also got the crab Rangoon, And some eggrolls. For two people, it was like 27$. Food was ready in 15 minutes.

Okay, I'm not a picky eater. But I can say with confidence that this place is the world's worst Chinese restaurant. Everything looked like it was a week old already, the meat was rancid, and everything was covered up in a sweet and sour sauce to hide the decomposed flavor. Now if I was an opossum, raccoon, or hell maybe even a dirty wild dog, I'd probably enjoy eating here. But not that much, I'd only take what I needed to survive.

I wish I had taken photos of the food but we went ahead and ate it all 🥲 it was so amazing! I’m from the East Coast (Philadelphia area) and it is reminiscent of the Chinese food from that area which I had misses so much! I only wish that the General Tso’s had those big red peppers and was maybe a little spicier, but it was still amazing and I realize that not everybody can handle that heat. The Mr got Orange chicken and he loved it as well! The chicken dishes mix really well with the rice. Next time I plan on getting the Wonton soup because that looked amazing, but I chose to get the beef lo mein. Needless to say, we were stuffed and had plenty of leftovers! Service was fast and friendly as well.

Terrible experience, visiting from Ohio decided to try their food. Once I finally eat my food lo and behold there’s pieces of metal in my food. I ask for compensation in some way because I almost choked on it. And was told to wait until Monday knowing I would be out of town by then. Crooked business, shady practices. Stay Away!!!

I have only gotten take out but am not overly impressed. I have eaten Chinese in several states and the General Tso's is subpar. I wasn't overly impressed with the pork fried rice, either. The wonton soup looked like it was in a beef broth which is unusual to me and the wontons had been soaking in the liquid way too long. I did enjoy the crab Rangoon. It was crispy and had a nice amount of cream cheese mixture. I basically just order from here when I don't want to have to drive to Charleston to Main Kwong.
