Great spot on the lake. Excellent renovations have made the dining room more spacious. Food and drinks are wonderful. Bloody Mary comes with two jumbo shrimp and Wings are huge. Excellent BLT

The food was amazing, the service was not. We asked what was in the chili (odd request, I know) and the answer was “it was made before I got here so I don’t know”. Our table ordered a mix of appetizers (for meals) and dinners, which should absolutely not be uncommon. We usually get asked when we would like the appetizers to come out, they didn’t, so it all came out at different times which meant no one actually ate at the same time. While the food was great, the terrible service made the overall bill seem excessive. I would not recommend eating here until they get their service experience figured out. I know hiring is tough, I get it, I live it, that’s no excuse for a lackluster experience especially when you have a cook that deserves recognition for their exceptional food!

We’ e been coming for years. The new management seems to prioritize pick up orders over people in the restaurant. We waited forever (2 hrs) because the kitchen was backed up. Probably better to order pick up.

We had a friends get away weekend in Hayward. Found this gem of a business when we got to town. The owners are amazing and the food was phenomenal!! We will be booking our stay next year in their cabins. Check them out! Beyond a 5 start status! They made us feel like we were from the town and not out of state people. Thanks for the experience!

This is an awesome family resort. Under New Ownership. The food is good the prime rib is the best in the area. The new owners make sure you visit is an enjoyable one. Great atmosphere and great safe place for kids .( cameras everywhere) keep up the good work .For elderly and handicapped there is a ramp go straight past second entrance and look for handicap sign and park next to building and get out right at ramp.

This place was an awesome stop and would really be fun to do during other times of the year. This was the offseason so quite quiet. With a great view it would be really neat location most any time of the year winter or summer.

Great food and great views. With that being said service in these times is a little trying at best. which is completely understandable, we get there, sit down at the bar first off never got asked if we wanted menus. get a couple drinks, wait maybe 15 minutes and order the Steak Bites and Walleye Bites (both very delicious) we drink our drinks and wait for our food. Food comes maybe 20 minutes later. we eat, no bartender anywhere for refills, we ate an entire meal with not an drink of anything. She was literally running around bringing drinks out to tables because there is not enough staff to man the restaurant.

Meanwhile earlier in the morning we were having some boat trouble and wanted to see if they rented boats, spoke with the cook, she told us to speak with the owner who was sitting directly across from us at the bar. We told her our story and told her that our motor was over heating we are staying right up the road. Mind you we are 4 and a half hours away from home.. She then asks us if we were staying at her resort, we said no, she then tells us no she can only rent them to people that are staying there. "It's busy season" September 20th 2021. Needless to say we won't be returning to your establishment
