Spent the weekend here and had a good time. Spots are a little tight but camp ground is well maintained. We sat thru the sales pitch with Pat and he was great. If we were better off financially at the moment we would’ve certainly signed up as the memberships perks are great and worth it. We received the prize and not sure why others here are saying differently. I recommend camping here.

We were excited to visit based on their website pics. But the RV sites were basically a bumpy/cracked driveway, no grass, unable to level our RV. Staff were nice. The website also stated 2 fishing ponds were stocked with trout and catfish. Able to catch 2 per day each. But at the resort, the signs were everywhere, stating catch and release only, barbless hooks only. They showed firepits, and when I called to ask, they permitted above ground pits with screen at our campsite, the answer was of course yes. Again, signs stated not permitted. Membership only, and we stayed for their presentation, but this park is just too run down to want to ever come back. Especially without fishing or being able to roast marshmallows for somors. Boring 😮 way too expensive for the lifetime bill. Nope

The pool heater is broke. Pool is too cold to use. County allows children under 14 in sap with adult supervision. Management will tell you it’s against the law and you will be cited. It is not true.

Emerald Cove allows children in the spa but Cherry Valley has an issue.

The picture on here looks nothing like the place. The fishing pond is very small! The man at the office Jeff is so very rude and I believe judged us because we are a bi-racial all female couple with 2beautiful brown babies. The location is right off the freeway and there is nothing around there to do that you could walk to. The RV spots are extremely close together. We did not end up staying due to how we were treated and will never recommend this place to another living soul!!

Please please please stay far away from this place. They will trick you into a nightmare of hidden fees for the rest of your life and then NEVER answer calls or return your call. They are always over booked with no open reservation. This company is full of empty promises. The cherry on top is their horrendously bad customer service.

This is a campground in Beaumont. We went here because we have a membership with Colorado River Adventures. It was our first time. We took 4 of our grandkids here and later my daughter and another grandchild came to spend the day at the pool. We had a great time at the pool. We had a nice campsite by the pond. I like the campground. It’s well manicured. The jacuzzi was not working and a regular guest said it has been broken for 3 weeks already. That’s a bummer, but the weather is so hot right now that it’s not as bad as it would be in the winter. Our grandkids live half an hour from this campground, that’s why we chose to stay here. We will be doing it again simply because it’s close to our grandkids. But if you’re looking for a nice quiet, relaxing Campground, this is not it. The campground is located right next to the freeway where big trucks go by all day and night. we can mentally block it out
most of the time, and we use a sound soother at night, so it’s not as bad. But if you’re looking for a quiet place, you will be disappointed. I’m surprised that they haven’t put up cinderblock walls to keep it more quiet. We ate at their little cafĂ©. We had a BLT and a club sandwich. Both were very good. They were generous with the french fries. The chicken nuggets are smaller than McDonald’s chicken nuggets, keep that in mind if you’re going to order that. It would be nice if they had chicken strips, which would be more filling. Ice cream is a little overpriced at $3 a scoop. There is an activity building where the kids did some crafts. They made little sand sculptures in a bottle, and beaded necklaces. My granddaughter loves her necklace! There are ducks freely roaming by the pond. We saw a big raccoon walk by and broad daylight. And we saw some people catching some pretty big fish. So it really is a fun place to go to if you can get past the freeway noise. There’s a sign at the pool that children under the age of 14 are not allowed unattended. I don’t think that rule is followed, as there were some kids there by themselves being a little obnoxious and doing cannon balls close to the other guests in the pool. It would’ve been nice if there was a parent there to calm them down. There is a sign that says no smoking, But there were some ladies that were smoking and we got to inhale their smoke. That was annoying. My adult daughter put a chair from the pool area right outside the fence of the pool area where we were sitting and she got scolded by a woman who works there because she said she did not want the pool furniture out of the pool area. We explained that we just put it right against the pool fence so that our little dog could be shaded, and then she made a comment regarding us taking better care of our dog by putting her in the Air conditioned RV. They were plenty of extra chairs at the pool, so I’m sure it wouldn’t make a big difference. Perhaps she was concerned that we wouldn’t put it back, I don’t know. It would’ve been nice if she was there to enforce the unruly kids, and the smoking ladies. I guess we had bad timing. Overall, it was a good trip. You’re not going to find the service you would find at a KOA or a more upscale campground. We really enjoyed the pool with grandkids, that’s what made it great for us. we will be back, because our grandkids live close and we can get past the freeway noise.
