I love bringing my little girl here to see the horses and goats! It’s a public park so it’s open to the public 10 am-4 pm. The employees are very nice and answer questions. Once she’s old enough we’ll definitely be doing a trail ride and lessons!

Found this hidden little gem while driving through Marina Dunes. Chaparral Ranch is a great place to get aquatinted with horses. Good customer service, friendly staff, guaranteed to have an amazing experience.

Our son Jacob really enjoyed his lesson. Doug was very patient and very knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. We drove up out of curiosity and were rewarded with great customer service and a beautiful experience for our 8 year old son. We bought an initial pack of four lessons and are hoping our son's interest continues. He was very excited to ride, and even more excited to return to do it again! Thank you very much!!!

I visited Chaparral a couple times for a trail ride and to spend time with the horses. I felt very welcome and found the horses to all have such sweet and great personalities. Doug and Josh were wonderful and helpful guides. I can't wait to visit again when I'm back in town.

We came here with my 3.5yo and had a great experience. Megan was so kind and good with kids, and my daughter got a chance to groom and ride a miniature pony named Midnight. Such a great experience for little ones!

Doug was the instructor and he was excellent and so informative about western riding and horses! He had me get to know Shiloh first which I’ve never done before when I’ve been horseback riding to other places. Makes so much sense now to me! It really helps you get to know the horse and the horse know you. He taught how to get the horse ready for the saddle. It’s best to get there early. Doug teaches you how to sit, where and how to hold the reins. My beginner lesson was so informative about horses and how to ride. I couldn’t believe how much I learned!!! Can’t say enough for my first lesson. Shiloh couldn’t have been a more sweet and easy horse to have my first lesson with. I’m coming back for another lesson in the Spring.
