What a great old building. We very much enjoyed our stay. It was nice having no TV for mindless distraction. I liked the restoration that kept the original charm in place. Plus, there's a great restaurant for dinner and a stand-out cafe for breakfast.

Positive: The staff was very nice and the place was clean. Also they are dog friendly. Negative: Sink had separate cold & hot water spouts and no shower in the room.

It is a neat old building with a great deal of period appropriate kitsch decor. Am lobby coffee is not available until after 7am. Floor 3 restrooms are not suited for those with mobility issues. Streetside location and squakey floors may keep lighter sleepers restless. Staff is friendly, I'm likely to return as both restaurants in building are excellent.

I checked out this recently remodeled hotel after having brunch at Berry Fields restaurant. (This is adjacent to the first floor of the hotel.) What I saw on the first floor was quite nice! 🙂
I recommend that the first floor restrooms be remodeled, though, as they appeared worn out, and the paint job was tacky.
Aside from that, I would assume the rest of this venue is lovely based on the photos. I wasn't a hotel guest, so I didn't ask to tour the rest of the building

Texans visiting the nearby mountains so sadly we only stayed one night on our way through town but we loved it! Such unique rooms and a great location. Chari’s food and drink recommendations were on point! We’d definitely stay again.

The Centralia Hotel gets points for its charm and authenticity. There's a lot to love about its historic interior and desire to maintain its charm.||Where it loses points is in terms of overall comfort and the availability of its staff. While they're proudly family-run, this tended to translate into a lack of support on-site, especially during the wedding we attended at the venue.||Having a regularly attended front desk, some kind of breakfast option, and improved bathroom facilities would all go a long way.

I came to town for my friend's wedding, her ceremony was in the ballroom in the hotel and we stayed in a room upstairs.

first, my expectations weren't super high, the pricepoint is modest but fair for the time of year. I was impressed with the level of service and comfort at this hotel. Our room was beautiful and spotless, the windows were big and we got lots of light in the morning (which I love), but we also had perfect black out curtains (which my partner loves). My friend's wedding was absolutely beautiful, and went off perfectly.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a little and rest, and a perfect venue for any celebration!
