Beautiful property. Really enjoyed the hot springs, the delicious (health-ish) food, and all the fun, unique activities. My husband said he had one of the best massages ever. It’s nice that everything is included (aside from some of the specialized activities).
The service is truly stellar and everyone that works here clearly loves their job and takes pride in the resort. However, I doubt we would ever come back because it’s a little too far away from everything and you never leave the resort. This means you keep eating in the same place day after day and seeing the same few people again and again…
I guess if you lived in the Phoenix area and wanted to escape to a lush, quiet resort it’s a good, local option for frequent visits. But it’s too out of the way with little upside for us to return.

Ohhh, Castle Hot Springs, what a magical place. I've had my eye on this spot since they re-opened. Very rarely does a resort exceed my expectations, and Castle Hot Springs did just that. The only word to describe it is magical. The food is incredible, the service is impeccable and the springs themselves are gorgeous. I didn't know going in that there are multiple spring pools. They naturally flow down the mountain and are cooler the further down you go. ||We enjoyed a couple sound baths, meditation, the farm tour and conquered the Salvation Hike (incredible). The only thing I wish I would have known is that you can pretty much plan your classes when you get there. *Most* are easy to get into, we just let the front desk know a little before the class started. Dinner times are pretty strict though, but you can always eat dinner in the bar area at any time. I think they try to remove the word 'no' from their vocabulary during your stay.||I helicoptered in and drove out. If you can swing the helicopter, it was an incredible experience. The dirt road on the way out can get a little dusty/bumpy but it is doable.||Castle Hot Springs was everything I could have imagined and more. I can't wait to visit again.

What a relaxing and rejuvenating place! The service here is truly unmatched. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. A special thanks to Matthew and Lexie for being outstanding tour guides—they made the experience even more memorable:)

Do as many of the activities as you can!! Sonoran aerial walkway, all the hiking trails, and farm tour were my favorites. Incredible how much you can learn about its rich history while having fun. Also makes you appreciate and connect with the AMAZING cuisines they offer here so much more.

This spot is also such a haven for artists and creatives like myself. Captured some of my favorite photos here and felt deeply inspired by the natural surroundings. It even sparked the creation of a few pieces of land art that I’m hoping to revisit one day. I’m so grateful for the inspiration this place offered and can’t wait for the chance to return!

Castle hot springs is a true destination adventure. We found this place when the husband requested a long weekend within the US that involved both pampering and activities, and as we love hot springs and via ferrata this seemed like a good choice.||Well, the weekend we went, the weather predictions were unseasonably hot, in the 105-110 range. Expecting to hunker down inside, we went anyway. What a wonderful time we had! ||The drive is about 1.5 hrs from PHX, and yes the last 7 miles are on a graded dirt road. Our standard rental didn't have any issues and the car isn't used at all while you arrive. We traveled as two couples, and chose the cottage for the extra gathering space. It's decorated similarly to the lodge-comfortable and updated yet in an old-school cabin vibe that some may not prefer. There are two flights of stairs up to it as well. Otherwise, its well equipped with AC, three bedrooms, two baths, a living room and small dining table and a kitchenette stocked with nespresso, teas, wine, sparkling and still water, topo chico and probiotic "sodas". Wifi will stream football if needed šŸ˜‰ ||Service- crazy good, and not just in your standard FS manner. The staff seem genuinely happy to be there working. Every request (and we had many) are met with a smiling "OF COURSE!" which in in itself is refreshing. Golf cart pickups to and from the spring, bar service to the rooms, dietary modifications, requests for electrolytes or ice bags or history lessons... The food service was also excellent, with an amazing farm to fork emphasis and many things made in house or locally. Dietary requests were easily handled, and the drinks are expertly crafted with the freshest ingredients. If you get a chance to take the agave spirits or mixology class from Gavin you will not regret it -he's not only educational and entertaining but loves his craft and shares his enthusiasm easily.||We went for the activities, as I've done via ferrata in italy and wanted to do it again. Our first morning was an easy canyon crater hike with an intro to basic techniques, and the second morning we did the castle peak via ferrata. Lead by Carlie and Ryan, both were fun and full of facts, no-pressure instruction, spectaular views, and thrills. We are in our 60's with moderate fitness and had no issues with the level of participation. The only activity I wouldn't recommend is the E-bike tour, which was basically 10 miles of washboard forest service road to a viewpoint, and you can easily do this for no charge yourself as the e-bikes and maps are complimentary. We had thought the tour was a single track over mountain terrain and were disappointed to be on rough, dusty and hot dirt roads.||The springs themselves were awesome! The top spring starts at 107, with subsequent ones at 102-3, 90, 87, and the pool which we never entered. There's a plunge pool at 44 next to the hottest pools, and that is lovely to immerse in. Paddle yoga is done in the 87 pool and a fun challenge. Massage and regular yoga are also offered, and we found those underwhelming.||The property as a whole is immaculate, and needs are anticipated and met in the most seamless way. Thank you, CHS staff, for an excellent stay.

From the time I entered the gate until I drove away from the property, I felt so taken care of at Castle Hot Springs. The service is like no other resort I've visited, and the staff is wonderful. Ross was an amazing guide—I did two hikes with him. The sound bath was such a great and restful experience. KaCe gave me great instruction for paddleboard yoga (I was scared I would fall off, but no one did). The food is NEXT LEVEL - I'm a foodie dietitian, and it blew my mind. The hot springs are beautiful and crystal clear - Carly taught me all about the history in the connecting with water class. Emma (night security) drove me to my cabin a couple of times, and I enjoyed chatting with her about the animals around the resort. I felt so safe as a solo traveler. Craig (grounds, I think) was super friendly, and we chatted about the property while I waited for my hike to start one morning. The beds were comfortable and soft, just like the robes. The amenities in the room were - again, next level. It was such a great experience. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Next time, I will.

Absolutely amazing resort. Incredible food. Rooms were gorgeous. The entire staff were the most friendly and accommodating I’ve ever met. The massage was better than any I’ve had - at any 5 star resort. And the hot springs exceeded our expectations. You spend 15 minutes in the hot spring, followed by a cold plunge - you feel 10 years younger.

I left this amazing resort refreshed and recharged. I cannot wait to return.

We stumbled on CHS when researching for a high end long-weekend getaway and can’t be more happy that we did. This is an amazing place. The rooms - each an individual bungalow - are spacious and well equipped. The setting in the Sonoran Desert is breathtaking. The food terrific. The activities and spa worth every penny. What really makes this place, though, is the staff. They are top notch, attentive, pleasant, engaging, and all around wonderful. A great experience!

This place is a magical paradise! I normally go to CanyonRanch in Tucson, Arizona, but they were under renovation right now and my travelagent told me about this place. I figured I’d give it a try… Wow! I had no idea that this place existed in the middle of nowhere, the 7 mile road to get there was pretty bumpy but when you arrive in that gate and see the row of palm trees You realize it was worth the travel. All of the staff, the masseuse’s, and the guides were the friendliest sweetest people! Everywhere you look was magical, the mountains, the Hot Springs, the Casitas, the scenery was exquisite! I highly recommend getting a massage with Cassandra, a Watsu water massage with Juliet, and another massage with Ryan ( she was there teacher). I wish I could bring them home with me! All the staff at the restaurant and the front desk and the bar were amazing. The guys at the bar filled my ice packs up every day for my bad back… And they never complained! The Hot Springs were fabulous, I really believe it helped heal my back a little… I had a great experience and highly recommend. The landscape is just amazing and the food was the freshest I’ve ever had right from their farm! I was sad to leave, but glad I had that experienceā¤ļø
