We stayed at these cabins with three friends, and the experience was incredible. From the very beginning, Matt, the owner, made us feel at home. His kindness and excellent hospitality truly made a difference—he was always ready to help and ensure we had a great stay.

The cabins are simple but impeccably clean and comfortable. The best part is the breathtaking view, making it a perfect place to relax and connect with nature.

We highly recommend this place, not just for its beautiful surroundings but also for the warmth and hospitality of Matt and his team. We would definitely come back without hesitation!

Rooms were simple, clean, and safe. Smart tvs with YouTube TV. Fast WiFi. Cheap beer and good breakfast food downstairs. 20 minutes from snowshoe. Can’t beat it.

Went to ride Cass Christmas train and came up night before. Loved the room, clean and modern! Small store and restaurant below.

The A/C system wasn’t removing the heat at all, return in hallway & wasn’t pulling any hot air out of hallway or rooms, the commode was more for a toddler also it rocked, the smell of grease was eye burning, the curtain panels over the door needed to be wide enough to cover the windows so nobody could see in. Our room was changed from 1 to 7 so the new owner didn’t have to smell grease I guess .This was a horrific experience as we had to find other boarding paying out more money to enjoy our out of town trip !!!! Good news Snowshoe is 20 min over the hill, they have a pool, a/c, hot tub, refig, iron, hair dryer, bar & only 8 dollars more.

Decided to try this place (that was a mistake) as there aren't many food options in Cass. Ordered wings and pizza. There was only one person cooking so it took a while for food to come out. When it did, the wings were lukewarm, although they tasted ok but they were tough. The pizza was burnt underneath in several spots, thin, and tough. How do you screw up a pizza? The location to the Cass Railroad is as good as it gets, literally across the bridge. Rates were decent at $100 a night. The rooms are dated like a 1990s hotel. The room and bathroom was clean. One complaint is the smell of kitchen grease from the restaurant downstairs saturated the air in the room. No cell service but they do have reliable free wifi. Shop downstairs has a nice selection. Overall,it is a decent place to spend a night when riding the train.

Visited Cass for a NYE getaway with my kids. Railroad park restaurant was closed for the season so was very nice to find somewhere so close with good breakfast. Made it our first stop every morning we were there for coffee and a hot filling meal. Rachel was running the show and was very kind to our daughter. Got some fudge for the road. Good prices.
