I was looking at the usual main stream hotels in the area, and came across this one! Mainstream it is not! but if you want to stay somewhere that’s just quiet and relaxing, this ticks all the boxes. Great rooms, great service and exceptional breakfast, added to a great location for all the local amenities. We only stayed a couple of nights, but could have easily just stayed in the hotel, as it was so nice! If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be checking availability for this place!

Delightful stay at an older motel for adults only, which has cozy rooms, lovely landscaping and a wonderful pool area with umbrellas and seating. Although the property is older, the rooms have such a comfortable feel and we were able to relax and enjoy our mini-vacation. The property is very quiet and restful. Our room had a dorm style refrigerator with a freezer (and ice cubes!), small microwave, coffee, dishes, etc, which was great if you brought food back from the wonderful restaurants in the area. Motel is very walkable to the El Paseo shopping district, tons of great dining and upscale shopping. Also has great local coffee shops along with a Starbucks close by. This hotel is often fully booked, so plan ahead if you want to stay here. We plan on returning for our next trip to the area. ||Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is a simple, beautiful family-owned inn, with an excellent location close to Palm Desert and Indian Wells. The pool area is typically decorated and well kept, and served as a nice place to hang out for breakfast and in the afternoon. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Breakfast was good and convenient, with a wide variety of home-cooked and store-purchased items, though timing was not suitable for an early start to the day. The value at this location during the Indian Wells tennis tournament is impossible to beat.

A gem! We stayed here in March with 4 other couples for 3 nights and did some tandem bike riding in the desert.|The inn is a lovingly restored motor lodge that is an intimate place - think of the opposite of a hilton garden or marriot courtyard. The inn is spotless and quiet. Centrally located just a a few blocks from all the restaurants and great coffee (Vacarro roasters) in Palm Desert. The breakfast is very good and includes a hot dish, pastries and tons of fruit and best of all, Ms. Kim is awesome host.

Our recent trip to Palm Springs was outstanding, largely due to our host, Kim, whose hospitality was second to none. From the moment we arrived, Kim made us feel exceptionally welcome, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the stay.

The resort offered a unique blend of eclectic charm and serene comfort, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The large pool area was a true oasis, providing a refreshing break from the desert heat. We were also impressed with the variety offered at the complimentary breakfast, which was a great start to our days.

Another notable feature was how well the rooms maintained a cool temperature, even without the air conditioning running. This attention to comfort, combined with the excellent customer service we received, made our stay very pleasant.

Additionally, the resort's location was ideal, just a short walk from the El Paseo strip, which has a fantastic selection of restaurants and shops. This convenience added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.

We can't thank Kim enough for her dedication and kindness. If you’re heading to Palm Springs, we highly recommend staying at Casa Larrea Inn, where the combination of great amenities, a prime location, and Kim's exceptional hospitality will ensure a memorable experience.

It's a quaint, quiet gem of a hotel. The owner Kim bends over backwards to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. She's warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The included breakfasts are awesome and have a wide variety of options including hot home cooked offerings! This is not your typical crumby old "continental breakfast"....this is a feast! I so enjoyed staying here.

First person I met was George from Vancouver Canada. Super nice guy and since when I walked into the office, staff wasn't present, so George walked around the property to find her. Next thing I knew Kim showed up to get me checked in. Kim was lovely, kind, friendly and efficient. Room was super cool funky hip chic, loved it. Clean, everything you could ever need even for an extended stay. No question, I'll be going back and really can't wait. Super nice and beautiful owner, and the people staying there are as nice as can be. The other guests told me if there was anything I needed, check with them before going to the store as they were certain they would have extra and I would be welcome to borrow some. You don't find places like this in the US anymore, it's really quite perfect.

I cannot recommend this little place enough. Cute, funky, private, cozy, clean, comfy, restful are but a few adjectives that come to mind. Location is awesome, just off El Paseo, walking distance to many restaurants (and shopping if you are into that). A beautiful courtyard with a large crystal clear swimming pool, and a welcome hot tub tucked away in the corner for cooler evenings. Breakfasts are delicious, including home-cooked options, cereals, yoghurt and chunky fresh fruit. Kim is an absolutely wonderful host, and her attention to detail is extraordinary. We'll definitely be back!
