I loved eating here. Service was friendly and human, the atmosphere radiates such an aesthetic history, and I enjoyed my food. Remember, this is a remote location, so like many remote places in Alaska, pricing will likely reflect associated costs. All well worth it to me!

Part of a Historic Roadhouse, the restaurant is housed in the old Carriage House. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is pretty good and prices are average for the area. You can get a drink from the tavern next door which has several local brews on tap. They do have a kids menu but no high chair for babies. The wait between ordering and food service would be the only drawback.

We stayed at lodge 3days it was great to relax and have good meal at end of busy day. Food is good, deserts are great, atmosphere is slow paced.
