Trust this review, go eat here. Order:
- multiple vampiros
- multiple street tacos
- carnitas plate
- large Thing of beans
- extra chips

You won’t regret it. The tacos are bomb.com and I enjoy a plate because I get to enjoy each bite on a chip (meat, rice, bean, salsa).

Super friendly staff. Become a regular.

Thank me after you finish your food.

I couldn’t make up my mind what to have for breakfast, so I ordered two dishes. They did not disappoint. And the leftovers were delicious! We’ll definitely be back.

A great local taqueria ran out of an old house. Great food, sizable portions, and ample selection in the salsa bar. Service is quick too. Not bad for about $8-14 for your meal. I will not only be coming back, but spreading the word, as I have updated my favorite Mexican restaurant in Lincoln from El Portal, to Taqueria Gonzalez! Okay, to tell the truth, I've been coming here for about 5 years now. Still maintains its status as my favorite Mexican food restaurant. I highly recommend the fish tacos and the Chile relleno, but you'll no doubt enjoy just about anything you can order off their menu. Try their chimichangas, their burritos in Diablo sauce, and also their burrito bowls. If you're a spicy freak like me, you'll love their Diablo sauce, which they offer for free with their chips and salsa bar.

Found my new taqueria spot in Lincoln! Food was great, the people were friendly, and prices were very reasonable. You might pass it the first time, as it does appear like a residential house. Will definitely be going back!

Cute little home tucked away. Place was not busy but felt like asking a question was an to much for them to take the time. Food was good . We got the pozole and its was yummy; a little spiced so get extra limes.

"It's in a house?" HECKIN YEAH IT IS! This place is fire - definitely on par with Mexican food in LA. The torta ahogada had such beautiful layering with perfectly cooked carnitas; the super quesadilla (Friday special) was thick with cheese and even without meat earned big points. Highly recommend!

Used to be our favorite spot, but it’s progressively gotten worse every time we order. The chile relleno was our go to, and now it’s downright inedible. They also consistently forget things, whether it’s a sauce that is supposed to come with a meal or the entire entree itself. The nachos are 90% beans and tomatoes, which makes them too soggy to eat. Sad to say we will probably not be coming here again.
