5-star amenities at half the price. Amazing location just across from the beach and surf. My family and I had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back. The hotel is directly across from a pretty decent surf-break and with shower and hot-tub, this is a gem. Plenty of activities for the kids, spacious rooms with double bath and full kitchen, free drip coffee in the AM. The location is also amazing for walking around Carlsbad, multiple restaurants surrounding the restaurant with several directly adjacent. All of the amenities worked flawlessly (BBQ, gas fire-pit). The resort is very clean as well. I saw them cleaning the pool daily, room-service was fantastic. Honestly a better experience than I've had at most top-dollar 5-star resorts. Will definitely be back.

Very impressed with the CarlsbadInn. Perfect location with gorgeous views! And the amenities are amazing. My kids love all the activities, especially Bingo night with Brianna! We also did karaoke and made candy sushi. The rooms are a perfect size and very nice. Will definitely be coming back!

This was the second time we have stayed at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort, and we will definitely be back! Right from the moment we checked in, we were early, our room wasn't ready but our parking pass and access to gates was processed promptly, allowing us to just relax to some excellent entertainment in the courtyard. We were staying for two week and were able to have a one bedroom unit that we would be able to stay in for the duration. The activities offered throughout the week were fun, ( Karaoke Monday, Pizza and Bingo on Tuesday evening) were the two we participated in and a selection of crafting,I chose to participate in one this time. Staff are all amazing, housekeeping do a fabulous job of checking in to see what you need and taking care of cleaning. Excellent relaxing ( even with a bit of maintenance work going on) and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beach holiday in Southern California

We stayed 3 nights in March, and loved the warm water swimming pool. It's big enough to lap swim. The staff were super helpful and our room was very clean and well equipped with beach towels too.
We hope to come back!

Positive: The hotel location, and the pool and courtyard with view of the ocean. Many good restaurants were right next door! Negative: The hotel room door had a large gap at the bottom, which resulted in a lot of hallway noise into our room, especially during late night hours. This hotel was part of a timeshare property, and so it wasn?t clear what amenities were available to us.

This is a beautiful well maintained property with all the amenities. The staff is helpful and friendly. Great location for walking around the village to shop and eat. |Elba in housekeeping was super easy to work with when I lost a personal kitchen utensil. She found it and returned it to me.

Great place for families. Great pool, easy below grade parking and just steps away from lots of good restaurants and the beach. The only thing would be more housekeeping services, especially with a $30 daily amenity fee. We will definitely be staying there again if we are in the area.

Although this resort has been around a long time, it was well-kept, very clean and the rooms we stayed in had some updates. It's location is perfect - walking distance to Carlsbad Village, the beach is right across the street. The employees were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative is the daily resort fees were fairly expensive since we were there for multiple weeks. I understand that's the way all resorts are, it was just an extra expense we didn't plan for. I'd still go back regardless.
