We didn't stay at the hotel, just stopped for food at the restaurant for dinner. The server was friendly and food was good. Food came out quickly, but there were only a couple other customers there. It's like a diner, we got burgers and fries. I probably wouldn't give it 5 stars if it was in my hometown, but it seems like the best option in this area.

This hotel was a little lackluster to be honest. To start, my toilet broke, not clogged but broke. Aka when I flushed it nothing would even happen which was....fun. also the pillows feel very lumpy and low quality. Despite this the people were friendly and I had fun using the walkie talkie to contact the staff since they are under staffed. The wifi here is also not much but I think the hotel tries so I give it 3 stars 🙂

The staff were fantastic, rooms clean and comfortable, good showers. The rooms include a microwave, freezer, and refrigerator, which was very helpful. The restaurant offered wonderful comfort food.

Front desk guy with snazzy bowling shirts was pleasant & helpful. Restaurant staff were working their butts off. We had a decent burger at the restaurant. Breakfast was hit or miss depending on the order. Intenet was so so, no surprise given location. Several things are evident: it's hard to find staff in that area=those that are there are overworked & don't expect anything to happen quickly or accurately, the hotel is in desperate need of cleaning & basic updating. We had just come off a 5 day river trip & were happy for a room over our heads & warmish running water. We didn't see bed bugs. This would be a 0.5 star hotel in the lower 48.

Whenever I'm in Glenn Allen I swing by and get pizza and play pool. The price for food there is decent and it's pretty good. It's also nice to have something fun to do while you wait for your meal.

Their bathrooms need a good cleaning, and they need to treat their water. It's pretty gross and is discolored due to iron. If those two things get fixed I'll raise my review to 5 stars

Sometimes it takes a picture 😒 At best a one star 60 year old dilapidated motel. There is no other accommodation for 100 miles, hence they charge 200$ for a 30$ room ! No A/C, but give you a large fan you can put in your window as the room will be about 90 degrees when you enter it. That has the added benefit of causing you to leave your room door open for ventilation and watching all your neighbor guests go by. The bathroom cleanliness is spectacular as the picture shows 😢 Not possible to communicate with the desk clerk as they don't speak English. Best solution is to schedule your time to stay either in Tok or Anchorage. Obviously I didn't 😒

We stopped in on our way to Anchorage. Friendly staff and hotel is dog friendly. Food at the restaurant was good. Rooms need a little attention but they serve the purpose for the location. My only real issue is the water. They warned customers there is an issue with the water and tell you it is potable. However, the sulfur smell and taste make you question that. This is an issue that should be fixed in the short term, as this will turn customers off quicker than other things. Just my opinion.

The price online was 149.00. when we asked they said the prices was 199.00 They just raised for the summer rates. they did give us 10% off

The rooms are old so wasn't expecting luxury.
The toilet had streaks all over it like someone used a disinfectant on it and never wiped off the seat So we had to clean off the toilet seat before using. The bottom fitted sheet was not put on properly. it was sideways on the bed like someone didn't know how to make a bed. so we had to make the bed ourselves.
The water never did get hot so had to skip a shower.
There was suppose to be hot coffee made at 6am. we went down at 6:30 am and they still had the coffee from the day before. Clerk said he would make fresh. we just left.
Wish we would of took pics but were tired and didn't think of it.
