My husband and I came here for breakfast and were extremely satisfied with what we ordered. I had the green Chilaquiles and Cafe de Olla. So what can I say…… The green chile was excellent! It was a bit spicy and had a hint of lemon and tomatillo taste to it. The chips were crunchy with a mix of some soft ones. They were perfect in my opinion. I ordered my eggs “over medium” and those were perfect too.

I will definitely be a returning customer here at Caramelo Cafe.

Before you read the review I have to say that I’m wrong and the lovely lady that helped us was really nice. Now it took longer as they were short staffed.
I also did said (estas mamadas) which was wrong on my part. The place has good food and great staff.

I have been to this place twice, I got there at 11:35 the order 1 crepe, 1 sandwich, 1 order of chilaquiles

The place was prob half full, i took almost an hour for the dry chilaquiles we are still waiting for a sandwich…

12:33 got the chilaquiles
12:35 got the sandwich

Had to send the chilaquiles back!!!
10 minutes later they are back and made they way they are supposed to be done they were good.

My experience may be different than others please support the place and the great team of employees.

I recently came here for the second time. My first time was a great experience a little crowded and busy but the food was good. This time the service took longer and I left with food poisoning. I order the chorizo omelette. It looked cooked but 30-40 minutes after eating I was throwing up and sick as a dog. Sadly that left a bad impression and I won’t be returning back.

Tasty food, many options. Staff is friendly, but food might take a while when you dine in since they are so busy. I like to order online too, but to add cafe de olla to your online order is not an option. So when I pick up my food I have to buy the cafe the olla at the restaurant but is it so expensive, not eve Starbucks feels that expensive. $7 for a medium size cafe de olla cup.

THE OWNERS TRIED GETTING THIS REVIEW TAKEN OFF YELP!!

lol first and LAST time coming here.. waited an hour and 10 mins to still have to wait for them to bring a seat out to the table they wanted to sit me at.. the staff was absolutely useless when it came to suggesting anything after I told them it was my first time here.. the food is MID and they must not know how to follow instructions because I ordered my bacon EXTRA CRISPY and it was still almost raw.. ordered chiliquiles as well and ordered the eggs over medium and the cooks must be incompetent and not know what that means cuz that is not over medium.. this place is WAYYY OVERPRICED for the quality of things they serve you... paper straws? Really? The owners must be too cheap and too retarded to not know that FOREVER CHEMICALS have been found in paper straws so they literally giving you things that will poison you.. 15.50 for some French toast and only give you 2 little syrup cups? WILD!! Nothing says the owners are cheap suckjobs like serving their customers with little syrup cups instead of buying it by the jug and filling up bottles... it was also nice that I had to wait 15 mins before our server came to ask us how our untouched food was because we where served it without any condiments.. real cool I had to wait 15 mins for 2 cups of syrup and some ketchup.. it was also cool to have fruit flys flying all over and landing on my straw that was in my $7 "fresh pressed" orange juice which I had asked for ice and never got.. I would be absolutely astonished at how this place gets so much business but the people in this area don't know ANYTHING about what quality food and good service is so no surprise.. DEFINITELY a waste of money and a waste of time!!
