Staff: five stars!! Morgan, Bachir and Nick were excellent and very welcoming and attentive. The long stem roses were a pleasant surprise. |Parking: Tight spaces but we were able to park on site and plug in our electric vehicle! We Loved that! but did not love the tight spaces. |The room: nice; clean; small portable air conditioner but didn’t need it. Ocean breeze was perfect. And the view…really nice!!|Bed: comfortable |Bathroom: adequate; really loved their lotion there|Pillows were comfortable; not too fluffy; not too flat.|Microwave and small refrigerator in room. |TV: hard to see whole screen from bed. |Wine and cheese hour: nice touch. |Continental breakfast: excellent! You could even make waffles and coffee! All kinds! Expressos, lattes, cappuccinos, etc. |Stairs: if you can’t do stairs, this might not be the place for you. To get to the beach you had to go down some stairs. A lot of stairs. |Beach: clean, small but felt very private. We enjoyed a nice walk along the beach. |There were nice shared areas we didn’t take advantage of like outdoor lounge areas and table areas. |We were in room 501 so we had a nice little balcony with a view to the ocean. Being able to hear the waves crashing at night was my favorite. |Oh and I can’t forget to mention it’s across the street from Selannes steak tavern and walking distance to so many food and shopping areas. We really enjoyed our walk to Southswell handled ice cream.

Stayed in one of their “Beach Front” rooms, and my wife and I enjoyed a spectacular view of the ocean. We could hear the sound of the waves crashing all night long. We’ve never experienced such a fantastic view. We sat on the balcony and sipped wine. There was a complimentary continental breakfast that we took back to our room and enjoyed it on our private balcony facing the ocean. Absolutely amazing!|Staff was extremely hospitable, particularly Bachir who went above and beyond to make our stay special. ||The location of the hotel is excellent as well, within close walking distance to shops and dining. We parked our vehicle on Day 1 and didn’t need to drive it again until we checked out.||We definitely plan on coming again! Hopefully annually, as it was just what my wife and I needed to revitalize our marriage.|LOVE the Capri Laguna!

This outstanding and personal boutique hotel has become my home away from home that I try to visit at least once a year. The location couldn’t be any better. To be able to take your breakfast with you and sit on the patio and take in the ocean view and watch the surfers while you enjoy the amazing Starbucks latte from the hotel is one of the best things in life. The hotel provides an amazing breakfast and have a coffee maker with many options that made us go back for a refill a couple of times. You get the best sleep here as the beds are super comfortable as you fall asleep to the waves crashing outside. But what makes this hotel so special is the fantastic staff and especially general manager Nikolaos who always goes out of his way to make your stay extra special. He is amazing at seeing each guest and taking care of them and leaving a personal welcoming note if you have an anniversary or birthday. It’s always great seeing Bashir and Morgan who greets you with a big smile and warm welcoming ways. It really does feel like a second home that you can’t wait to come back to and that you miss when leaving. I wish everyone had the opportunity to stay here and I can’t recommend this wonderful hotel enough. I left with new amazing memories and I can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I stay here every spring. Both Bachir and Nick are extremely kind and go out of there way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They had roses in our room upon arrival and a bottle of champagne delivered on our last night. The rooms are very clean with a small kitchenette and the beds are so soft. The view is spectacular! We saw dolphins, seals and the most beautiful sunset over the water. The sound of the waves puts you right to sleep. |Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. There is a free shuttle that will take you all the way to Dana Point if you want to venture out. No need to drive. This is the perfect place to stay if you just want to decompress.

This place is remarkable. It reminds me of a European extremely well run Hotel. They have a personal touch here which I’ve never really seen except in small boutique hotels along the coast in Europe. I feel like this is perfectly situated about a mile from Heisler Parkand the montage. Lots of restaurants nearby. A magnificent breakfast. Views of the ocean very soothing. Extremely comfortable beds and simple furniture. Finally, the staff were so kind and helpful and friendly.

We had a great time AGAIN at Capri Laguna! Nick, Bachir and the entire crew were awesome. It is a hotel but they treat you like family! The daily breakfast was great and the 24 hour coffee/espresso machine was a plus. Just steps from the beach, the view was amazing. |I would highly recommend staying here!

Spent 3 nights here, it’s got a very European feel from check in to room layout. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to stay here every time while in town. ||Rooms - clean, spacious, nice balconies. Some parts are a little older like crooked doors, long time to get hot water and wonky shower heads but, for us, those did not detract from the stay at all. There was some loud construction noise (next door) at times, but of course this is totally out of their control. ||Service - Excellent and friendly ||Gym/spa - none. Not necessary though - there are tons of gyms nearby. I used Planet Fitness since I have a membership.||Location - right on the beach. However, for anyone with mobility issues, note that it’s steep stairs down to the beach and additionally there are no railings for the final 10 steps or so. Also there are stairs to access most of the rooms. ||Restaurant - none, but they do have a small continental style breakfast and some all day snacks and coffee available ||Overall - loved this small cute European style beach hotel. Will definitely visit again!

My family and I have been visiting Capri Laguna for years, and the experience gets better every time. Visiting Bashir, Morgan, Nick, and the staff is always a pleasurable experience. ||The beach access is great, sitting on the upper deck to take in the ocean views throughout the day and sunset is always a great time. ||Nick and his staff are doing a great job in managing Capri Laguna. Bashir is such gentlemen, and always remembers us when we visit. We cannot imagine a better experience in any of the other hotels in the area.
