A truly wonderful place! My family and I had the most amazing time, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and great history of the area. The hosts, Gary and Ming, went above and beyond with their warmth and kindness, making our stay truly special. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

One of the most unique getaway experiences in the Southwest. Owners/hosts Gary and Ming warmly share their heritage, the land, pets and farm animals and their wonderful accommodations -- as if you were close family. Every detail thought of. Treated ourselves to Sky Tower on this return trip. Beautiful furnishings and artwork, plush soft goods, wonderful kitchen and living areas. Workmanship in interior spaces is top-notch and has all around views that can't be matched. A mile off the county road and up high means total peace and quiet. Can't wait for a 3rd visit!

What a magical place Canyon of the Ancients Guest Ranch is!  ||Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly herd of sheep, setting the tone for our stay. As we drove into the main area of the ranch, Bessie, the property’s “tour-guiding” dog, welcomed us with her charming twirls and dances, leading us to Garry and Ming, our gracious hosts. They offered us a tour of their expansive property, nearly 2,000 acres in size.||From the moment we arrived, I was already planning future trips with family and friends. As one of the reviews aptly stated, “Ming and Garry have created an incredibly special place, and we are so fortunate that they share it with the world.” I wholeheartedly echo this sentiment.||We stayed at Elden Stone House, a beautifully decorated home with a southwestern theme and three cozy bedrooms. The attention to detail in the decor truly captured the essence of the region, making our stay a delightful experience.||The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, stocked with high-quality cookware and all the essentials you would expect in your own kitchen, including extra virgin olive oil, coffee, and tea. We were pleasantly surprised to find a basket of fresh farm eggs in the fridge, which used to make a delicious scrambled egg breakfast, and the delicious plums and apricots Ming hand-delivered to us in the evening were a lovely touch.||Overall, our stay at Elden Stone House was a wonderful blend of comfort and southwestern charm.||This place is truly magical, spiritual, and enchanting. Ming and Garry, thank you for your warm hospitality. We will be back soon.

This place is beyond special. The ownes are so incredible and with their knowledge of the land and the passion they have for every detail about their rooms and property you can’t help but feel at ease. The beauty is exceptional and almost has a Sedona vibe. Definitely a great getaway

We stayed in the "COWBOY LOG CABIN". Everything was clean and as described. We had a wonderful time. We were in Colorado for our daughters wedding and only stayed two nights so we didn't have much extra time for sight seeing.. The ranch is very quiet and peaceful. The hosts Garry & MIng took a few pictures of us (which they emailed to us) and showed us around the ranch. We are both in our late 60's, but if we travel to this area again we plan on staying here.

Canyons of the Ancients Guest Ranch is a visually stunning and truly unique place to stay. Owners Garry and Ming have beautifully restored existing structures, and created beautiful new guest houses that totally maintain the esthetic and beauty of the area. We stayed at the Cowboy cabin. It was perfect and made us feel so connected to the area. The ranch cats would visit while we sat on porch while horses and sheep would walk by. Garry showed us around and we met the animals and heard the history of the ranch. Garry also made sure we saw some special sites that were off the beaten path or actually guiding us to some amazing sites. We are looking forward to returning, Garry and Ming have created a very special place.

My girlfriends and I (five of us in total) recently stayed at the Ranch House for an important birthday celebration for the "youngest" one at 70 years young. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated and even cool in hot temperatures. Garry and Ming were great hosts and gave us tours of the nearby petroglyphs and archaeological ruins as well as the Sky Village guest homes and the other rental cabins part of the Guest Ranch. I highly recommend staying at any of the cabins at this beautiful Guest Ranch!
