I have a hotel/restaurant management degree and I also worked at Cornell University school of hotel administration, the Staler Hotel, for 13 years so I have a ton of experience in hospitality and staying at hotels. This was one of the best places I’ve been! The price was excellent. The room was very clean, it smelled great, no artificial smells… I am very sensitive to chemicals and artificial air fresheners, and I did not experience either of those which was amazing! The young man at the front desk who checked me in was excellent, very attentive to my needs and very polite! I went to the snack room and was very pleased that there was no price gouging, everything was very affordable, and lots of varieties to choose from! The only thing I would mention is maybe some more allergy sensitive treats, but I was very pleased. The woman who checked me out in the morning was very kind and attentive as well… my overall experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you again!

This is a wonderfully clean and quiet hotel. Staff is very accommodating and friendly! I mistakenly missed a day in my reservations and with no problems they extended my stay and I kept my same room as well. They have supplied all you need for an extended stay. I will definitely return here. Excellent!

We were staying here for about two weeks while our house was being renovated. Room was lovely and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a Laundromat available on site for guests to use. A small gym with enough equipment to give you a well rounded workout. There is a little cupboard shop near the front desk where you can get snacks, essentials. You can even get a free cup of coffee.

I was relocating a collector car and stayed here for the evening. Arriving after hours (11pm) the desk clerk was so welcoming and efficient at check in, which was greatly appreciated as I was tired. He explained how the hotel was laid out, where the ice maker was and how the Candlewood Cupboard (food/snack pantry thing) worked. Room was super clean... bed and pillows smelled clean and was very comfortable. I was located on the 1st floor, near the parking area and didn't hear a thing all night. Very quiet, even in that location. Just outside the door of the hotel is a little coffee shop so you have easy access to your morning "routine" (addiction?) ha ha. All in all, such a nice stay. My wife and I are planning a exploratory road trip through Portland/Vancouver this summer and we will certainly be staying here on the way through. What a great place!

Everything about our experience at this Candlewood Suites was just as we hoped. Great value for the money. Great location. But more than anything the staff are so impressive. Friendly! Helpful! Quick to do anything you need. We were there to buy a house and needed things printed and photo copied and they did it so fast and effectively. I was deeply impressed.

I’m not big on booking hotels or staying somewhere I’ve never been to before. I booked this hotel for Xmas and it was for 2 nights. Upon arriving I was greeted by the friendliest front desk worker, he let me know what the hotel offered, what was near by, and if I needed anything I only had to ask. It was really nice to have the “cupboard” available as we had checked in relatively late and were looking for a pick me up. Coffee and tea was always available which made me extremely happy.
The room itself was so nice! We’re just off the elevator so not too far to leave and not to worry about the noise. The bed was super comfy and the two pillows for my stay were an added bonus as one was firm while the other was soft which gave me options of comfort. I never heard the people next to me which made my stay all the better. The bathroom was really nice as well, nothing fancy but definitely appreciated.

My overall stay exceeded my expectations, this will be the only place I’m booking for future stays. The rates were the greatest as other hotels around were way more pricier, but this place was perfect. 10/10 recommend this place to everyone and their neighbor!

We booked this hotel as a Friday launch point for our Oregon Coast adventure. The price was amazing so we weren't expecting much. We were surprised to find the hotel in the middle of new suburbs. The parking lot felt extremely safe. Checkin was flawless. The room was great. Just the right size with a full kitchen. The hotel offers a lending library of cooking utensils and board games. They order a blender. There is also a very well stocked convenience store at the front desk. So many businesses walking distance for meals.

I researched this hotel, I read all the reviews, and decided to book our stay there. We walked into the hotel and was greeted by a very kind man. We walked into our room and was so happy to see how very clean and new it was. It has a kitchen area, a work area with a desk, the bed and bathroom were very nice. It had everything we could want or ask for. We will definitely be staying at this location when we come back to Vancouver.
