Some rooms needs some updates or maintenance, but overall, comfortable beds, and great location. There's house coffee that is in all the rooms and the lobby is terrible... It's very tangy and bitter for lack of better words. Bring your own k-pods and it solves the only problem I have with the hotel!

Hotel is historic and really nice. We had a lakefront room. Beautiful property. Even kept hot tubs going outside even while snowing. Lakefront rooms are a bit of a challenge to get to via stairs from lot. Tend to freeze up and are icy in winter. Right at start of Downtown. Can walk to activities.

We rented a cabin for the night to celebrate my husbands birthday. Upon checking in - the font desk person asked if I meant to check into Campbells Resort - odd but no big deal. I’ve stayed there before. When we went to our cabin - which I’ll admit on their website was described as “rustic” - rustic is an over exaggerated It smelled stale - the only lights in the bedrooms were lamps that were plugged into multiple old extension cords that were daisy chained together to reach the one outlet. The fan on the HVAC system could not be turned off and was loud - there must be debris in the vents - and there was rattling and and banging that was consistent. I do not believe the rustic cabin was grounded - bc static electricity began to build up to the point it became physically uncomfortable. We did finally identify a way to turn off the fan/unit - and opened windows - and it bearable. My husband had tried to find the breaker box - which we could not find until the next morning when we found it outside - wide open and not latched shut. Do not stay here. We were prepared to drive home at midnight due to the extraordinary and bizarre conditions of the cabins “rustic” conditions There were also items left in the cabin from the previous tenants - which causes pause about cleanliness - We have stayed at Campbells multiple times - not in the cabins - and had reasonable experiences - this was an absolute waste of money - and I will be sure to share this with everyone that is considering staying there.

The M7 unit was so cool to stay in! A 3 bedroom 2 bath unit in the old spa so the layout is super quirky and cute! It was absolutely perfect for what we needed, which was a room for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in before my wedding and then a nice room for me and my new husband to share after the wedding. I would highly recommend this space to anyone who needs similar accommodations! Plus we had a perfect view of the hydroplanes during Mahogany and Merlot while getting ready, it was wonderful! Only draw back is there are only stairs to access it but if you're good with stairs book this room!

We spent 1 night here near the end of a 2 week motor trip. A bit of a splurge but with their fall rates in effect - worth it. We had a ground floor room that opened onto a small patio and the grassy lake shore. The room had all the usual amenities and a very comfortable king bed. While near the end of the season, it was warm enough to spend the day on the sandy beach and swim in the lake. There are lovely paths, docks and gardens on the property. We enjoyed the Happy Hour at the on-site tavern and it was an easy walk to the local Safeway, the Riverside Park and downtown restaurants. I hope to return.

My husband and I stayed at Campbell's resort for our Anniversary. It was our first time staying at Campbell's; although we have traveled/stayed at a different place previously. ||From the front desk to the restaurant the staff were friendly, courteous and provided wonderful service. ||Our room was clean, spacious and the view was amazing. Although it was a little chilly late night/early morning. ||Our dining experience overall was "good" staff were extremely courteous, attentive and knowledgeable of menu choices; our only complaint was of the menu item that my husband chose; the preparation of the item made it inedible. Although our server did offer to take it back; we declined as the restaurant was very busy and we did not want to wait.||Overall our stay was awesome and we will definitely be staying at Campbell's whenever we are back in the area.

overall , a good experience. stayed in the offseason, so the place wasn't packed. no pool and no beach, but that's fine (it was cold). landed in the older part of the place, Bldg 4, but had a nice ground level room. comfortable beds, nice staff, warm hot tub. only drawback was an ongoing squeek in the AC/Heating unit (which I didn't report because it wasn' t that big of a deal to me ).
