This is a wonderful place to unplug, relax and recharge! We spent hours playing games and reading upstairs overlooking the water and very much enjoyed the quiet ambience. We brought our own breakfast items and used the common refrigerator with no issues. The staff was quick to respond to every question and request, and we appreciated the water bottles, snack items, and coffee maker. Highly recommended!!

I am going to repeat a review I read: DO NOT LISTEN TO NEGATIVE REVIEWS. It is from people that expected luxury and first class service. Think instead of an European experience: large and beautifully presented common rooms, a shared balcony view that is paradise - a perfect place to watch sunsets or sunrise overlooking the bay - the reflections in the water will stun you. The furniture is antique and the attention to detail is outstanding. We took Room 7 - large, perfectly furnished, and a comfortable sofa looking out over a wall at a second story view of the bay. Staff very friendly and check in meticulous - but efficient. We stayed 2 days - not only lodging but a romantic place, a place to chill: worth its while to take the larger room. Remote, but accessible. Cama Beach Cafe and State Park are laid back (like Camano Island) but the forested-ocean views are breathtaking. People call it the magic island - and it is. Worried about restaurants? Good ones nearby. This is a great place for that getaway: we plan on coming back.

I was pleasantly surprised when I showed up to room 1 at the Camano Island inn! Beautiful view of the water, I made it just in time to watch the sunset while drinking tea provided by the front entry way. The spa tub was HUGE and so delightful. You could have a party in there. At first I was nervous when I didn’t see a refrigerator, but then I realized there is a large, beautifully updated shared kitchen available for use, so I was able to keep my food in the giant clean refrigerator, and prepare my meals in there! I seemed to be the only one there at the time so that was nice. I am just obsessed with how charming it is from the moment you pull into the drive! Beautiful attention to detail in the displays in the common rooms and a vintagey vibe but doesn’t feel out dated. Be try clean. It feels like HOME. Definitely will be returning next time I’m in town. - also I will add that the text from the front desk with codes and all pertinent information before arrival was very appreciated. I was able to see myself in quietly and explore. Very friendly staff. Thanks again.

Upon arrival, (3:45pm, earliest arrival by 3pm) I had not received my arrival text, there was no one to be seen inside. Front door was locked, upon calling and requesting the arrival text/self entry code, we were able to get inside. However after getting settled, I was quickly apalled by how run down the room/porch was. The bathroom sink had constant dripping, we could not figure out how to get "heated tile floors" in bathroom to work and were very cold every morning. One of the dresser drawers was missing the hardware and we were not able to access the drawer, there is very limited space to unpack your clothes for the duration of your stay as there were; two end side tables one of which contained a pair of binoculars, and a two drawer dresser, one drawer which was inoperable, the other containing the board games Clue and Would you rather.
The hot tub was NOT cleaned prior to our arrival and had quite a bit of built up alge on the inner lining, there was a button for lights on the hottub that were inoperable, it seemed that the jets button would occasionally work, sometimes turning ON the jets, but not turning them back off, and with no way to refill the hottub, it was loud as it kept pushing air above the water line.
The porch fence was very unstable due to wood rot where the screws were supposed to secure the railing. There were multiple broken floor boards on the porch, guests were walking along the back part of the property along the gravel rain garden, invading our private patio space, it was raining one of the days we stayed, and there was a really bad roof/gutter leak (like holes in the wood and gutter..) from the upstairs causing a cold, waterfall amount of water, into our hottub. Included in the price was complimentary breakfast; fruit, pastries, yogurt, etc. I was told upon arrival that breakfast will not be provided.. They advertise the Inn as a "dining and spa" place, but as mentioned above, don't provide the "included in price breakfast", they don't have Uber Eats on the island and only like two options for delivery to the Inn, and their phone reception is garbage.. I have Verison and my partner has AT&T and neither of us could hardly get a single bar of phone reception to order food since this place provides bags of oatmeal and granola bars and thats it.. and the only "spa" aspect, was the hot tub, which isn't in every room..
The provided water was not purified and had lots of particles floating around inside and tasted more thick/slimy than what I am used to when drinking clean water..

I was very excited to stay here because their website is so elegant and I've read countless raving reviews! "Understatement" would be an Understatement when explaining my experience here. I was so underwhelmed by the lack of sparkle this place has compared to the photos. It's a glorified Air BNB without the breakfast.. someone bought a piece of land with a spectacular view, custom built a few rooms with privacy walls out back, and turned it into a self check-in rental. Nothing about this place screams spa, or hotel, or anything more than a landlord special Air BNB.

Do Not Listen To The Negative Reviews! This place is a PERFECT representation of the chill, relaxing vibe of Camano Island. As long as you aren't expecting "luxury and first class service" and understand that it's run more like an AirBnB than a hotel, you'll be enchanted by it's charms and amazing waterfront location. The rooms are comfortable and you'll have everything you need at your fingertips. The manager met our group who stayed there and was more than accommodating. It's the perfect place to sit back and relax and enjoy the Camano Island way of life. If you want luxury, Camano Island isn't for you.

This might just be the most shocking bnb experience I've had to date... Here's my story for your reference. When I booked, the website showed pictures of a room with a sea view and boasted a lovely scene with an outdoor hot tub. However, upon arrival, there was no reception desk, and I had to get the room code by asking other guests and making a phone call. The room I got had no view at all; it was on the opposite side facing a busy road, incredibly noisy. Moreover, the room was very dated, dark, and had a strong moldy smell.

I was utterly shocked and felt the room was uninhabitable, so I immediately called to cancel my trip and drove home that same night.

The rooms facing the sea looked nice, and staying in one of those might have been delightful. But I think the hosts are being quite greedy by charging the same rates for old, unappealing rooms facing a noisy road. It's simply unfair to guests.

We stayed in room 2 on the first floor. We did have a nice view from the porch. The hot tub was in good condition and the room was clean. There was beachfront access and we had the whole area to ourselves to watch the sunset. No spa or bistro open, which we were prepared for. There was drip coffee, bottled water, and instant oatmeal available (go to Camano Coffee for expresso and pastries!). Overall we were happy with our stay but it was expensive! Oh, we didn't need it, but there was a fan availalble in the room.

I travel a lot and was very disappointed in this place. This is not a 4 star inn! The pictures on line are misleading. There is no restaurant, no view from the first floor patios (which is why we came here), as the ivy outside is very overgrown, the first floor patios are old, dirty, and need maintenance. The front door was locked when we arrived, we did not get the required message with access codes to get in. We knocked/rang the doorbell and two (maids?) people let us in. There was an akward conversation about why the inn is in the condition it is... No in room amenities (no fridge, coffee, microwave... instead a dorm room sized "community fridge" up front that you can put your food in? Had to get up and make my own coffee in the lobby on Sunday morning... The rooms are dated, but clean. Overall, this is a 2 star inn that needs some help.
