We stayed in a private bungalow with an en-suite bathroom, which was a great feature. The location in downtown Calistoga made everything easily accessible, and the cleanliness of both the room and property stood out. The staff was friendly, and the complimentary coffee and scones in the lobby were a nice touch.

Drinks at bar were good but pricey ($38 for 2)

However, the bedding was a major downside—1 star. The old spring mattress desperately needs an upgrade, as it left our backs sore.

If the bed is improved, I would definitely recommend this as a great spot for a relaxing getaway!

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. We enjoyed the seafood fettuccini, calamari, oysters and mushroom pizza. The outside area looks fun with fire pits and next to the river but it was a bit too cold on this visit. We will definitely be back.

Really amazing short rib!! Probably the best I’ve ever had. The entire dish had so much flavor. Fiancé got the steak which was great. We also enjoyed the house rolls, edge salad, and the brownie. Everything was amazing. We stayed at the inn that night. It was very clean and cozy. The shared bathrooms were very clean and the shower was great! Highly recommend.

I was in town to visit my brother and he suggested we all go to brunch at this restaurant.

His wife said we need to get the house Parker rolls. Oh my goodness gracious, so amazing! The delicious rolls with the rosemary melted butter. Don't walk but run!

The eggs Benedict was delicious!

One of my cocktails was amazing but the other the mezcal was intense!

The service was fantastic and sitting in the outdoor seating area adds a special ambience.

If you like beer, they have beers made in house on tap! Delicious! Stop in for the amazing beer!

Great outdoor seating, excellent food. Really good seasoned fries. Everything great except waitress never delivered extra requests like pepper or ketchup. Kept having to call the host to purchase table to get any service...but worth it for the shellfish linguine.

The service is disgusting, you have to ask, ask and ask again for everything. If you come with a child, you have to ask for a children's menu and ask for a high chair, waiters are not able to guess and offer. The food is mediocre. The soup of the day depends on the leftovers in the kitchen. The waitress said that the soup of the day was chicken, but brought some kind of cream red slop with hot pepper, so my wife and child simply did not eat it. But the salmon was not bad, edible.
There was a line for the veranda restroom with 5 people, and none of the three waiters standing idly at the entrance offered to go to the internal one until we asked.
The entire meal cost us $130 plus tips. It was an indelible negative experience.

I always have wanted to stay here over the years. It's old and historic and funky. Shared bath and shower kind of thing. I tried getting a rate at some higher end hotels closer to Napa but as I was just passing through for the night and $600-$900 a night was kind of stupid. I paid $169.00 without a bunch of other fees and I lugged my stuff up the old stairs and put up with all the idiosyncrasies of an old hotel. I went to the bar and had a few drinks, met some nice people and the bartenders were attentive but inexperienced. The gal who checked me in was nice.

Talk about a great place! So good we came twice (once for dinner, two days later for breakfast)

Staff was always friendly, welcoming. Very dog friendly!

Food was amazing, and options for everyone.

Can't wait to visit again!
