I went there a while ago looking for some replacement gear, very little inventory and not the brands I wanted, what they did have was priced higher than online and shops in Monterey, he got me good, I’ll never go back

I gold mine in Colorado and recently gained access to deeper water claims to dredge. The lady I spoke with was extremely helpful when asking questions about equipment needs I may have. Soon I will make my order and schedule training for proper use of equipment and to learn the skills necessary to dredge under water. I wish I remember the lady's name but thank you anyway.

Mike is awesome -- he's helped me out multiple times when I was in a pinch to get my cert done in time. I flew out from Colorado to finish my open water dives with him and then he helped me get certified in time for my Mexico trip when my local dive shop failed to do so. Summer was my dive buddy in Monterey and she was the best- both she and Mike were super patient with me while I struggled with one of the skills and worked with me until I got it. I also have interacted with Stephanie multiple times -- she's super sweet and helpful! Highly recommend this dive shop and will likely join them on some dive travel in the future.

If you're looking for a great scuba/dive shop, look no further than California Scuba Center. Mike and his wife are very welcoming, honest, and give so much to the Fresno/Clovis community. They treat their customers and staff like family.

If you're well seasoned diver or just getting into diving, they will get you what you need. They stand by their products 100%. If Mike doesn't have it, he can get it and will always get you a good deal! (There are always great deals to be found at his shop, just have to keep a look out). I mainly spearfish/freedive and they have everything I need including expertise and gear.

The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sale. If you need advice, they are great resources. Great group to go out on group dives with. Veteran friendly. Highly recommended. Five stars.

Working with the team at California Scuba Center was a great experience for my wife and I as we signed up to get our certification. Mike and his staff were great and very patient with us. We've now gone on our first 2 dives as certified divers in Mexico recently! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get certified.

Mike Fitz and his staff are top notch! The shop is not just a retail store that sells scuba/freedive gear...rather it is a gathering place that welcomes ALL divers, provides honest advice, great prices, locals service and most importantly a scuba shop that you can trust! We are blessed to have a shop ran by divers and dedicated to divers here in the Central Valley. No need to look elsewhere they have you covered on land so you can have fun under the the water!

Be warned if you plan on leaving the country with this group. The owner Mike has flaked on us multiple times, leaving us with unfulfilled certifications, bills and gratuity he pocketed to charter providers, and a bad attitude. Too many bad stories to name in one review.

The owner, Mike, is very welcoming and knowledgeable. This is a much friendlier shop than the others in the area. They offer lots of classes, local and travel dive opportunities, and have a scuba team that divers can join for extra perks! I bought a BCD for my daughter today and Mike was able to answer all of our questions. We'll be back!
