Do not go here! This was an absolutely terrible experience. The room was dirty with trash still in the room and piss ok the toilet seat. There were also dirty sheets on the bed! Looked like they never cleaned it. They also had holes and smudges on the wall and no fire/smoke alarm. This place should be shut down!

There really was no service, they hv no coffee or anything, the room was o.k for it's type but the bath mat looked clean until u unfold it, it was vary dirty. Other than that, bed was comfy

This was the most disgusting room i have ever stayed in. When the manager was confronted he said impossible cause he cleaned the room himself. By the way he looked and the smell coming from the office i actually believed him when he said that. Dont waste money on this place.

I booked online and got a killer deal . The room was not bad no roaches. It had a view of the neighborhood from the bathroom window . You also have a CVS and a donut shop nearby. The TV worked . There is no real service only check in and checkout. The location might not be the best as it's off beach Blvd lots of "stuff" happening. Once your inside the motel property it's chill . I would come back as long as I got my deal . Last thing there is a 50$ deposit

The service that I recieved at the Motel Calico in buena park California was disgusting:
1.- the first room I stayed smelled to urine.
2.- The front desk girl share to me the WiFi singnal of the next hotel due the Calico hotel was not working properly
3.- At the second day, the man on charge knocked at the door at 11:00 am to ask for the money for next night, asking the money in that moment, his words "you have to pay righ now, i can not wait"
4.- at the very next day, I came back to rest at nigh al 10:00 pm, the room was not clean. they moved us to other room.
5.- the credit card terminal to pay the nigh rate did not work properly.

THE EXPERIENCE IN THE CALICO MOTEL WAS DISGUSTING.
I hope this comment be useful to the people that is looking for an motel / hotel to rest.

Very dirty room, insects literally crawling around the floor, bedbugs by the bed, in the toilet, around the sink. Pictures only show 5% of it. The staff had the audacity to rent out an infested unit without even doing their due diligence. They deny all accountability and will claim it was clean before. Stayed an hour mistakenly before getting fed up and leaving but had to go in circles for a refund, couldn't bother. Love collecting money and neglecting customer service, pretending to care while not caring the slightest. Stay away.

Cockroaches all over the first room, disgusting. Floor,tables,night lights,ceilings,hand sink. Asked for a refund instead got moved to a different room which had less but still saw a handful of them throughout the night. It was during the chilly months
