I was visiting LA from the east coast and stumbled on Cafe De Mama. Their drinks are very unique and taste amazing. I had the black sesame cream latte and the Injelomi strawberry croffle and both tasted sooo good. The staff is so kind and it’s such a great place to do work or just hang out for an afternoon coffee. I’ve come back several times during my trip and will probably make this a staple on future trips to LA.

This cafe offers very unique drinks that are otherwise hard to come by in America. The persimmon milk sounded the most intriguing, and it did not disappoint. The chunks of fresh persimmon are amazing in the milk, reminiscent of jelly drinks, and it was not too sweet. The black sesame latte was also amazing. It has a rich nutty sesame flavor and was complimentary to he added espresso. The injeolmi latte was great, but when mixed with espresso, it was overpowered: it became a simple latte with soy milk. The best part of these 2 lattes was dipping the tteok into the cream foam on top. Both flavors were heavenly. The service was friendly and there is a lot of space.

We irdered the injulmi coffee, black sesame, and strawberry milk

Each one was great and I'd order any of them again

I love injulmi and having it as a coffee drink slapped for me.

But as much as I love injulmi, I have to give the strawberry milk a shout out. It was so creamy like a milkshake.

Black sesame was a bit bland but much better after I added an espresso shot.

The matcha is grainy, but the watermelon slush tasted fresh! The injeolmi is a fun spin on regular cafe drinks. Croffle was good, but not extraordinary. Also parking and entrance is behind the building.

So so sooo delicious! Really interesting and unique drink flavors, great prices, so fresh, and SO GOOD! I was literally mind blown when I took the first sip because it was that good. We got their Matcha Mugwort Cream and Persimmon Milk and it was the perfect sweetness and consistency. Service was quick and kind too! 10/10 from me! I would come back to try all their drinks!

The coffee shop is not located in the center of K-town and is a bit far out. The surroundings look a bit old and run down a bit.

There is parking at the back of the building, and you can also enter from the back. The first impression of the store decoration is 6/10. It looks ok, but I was there to grab and go anyways, so let's move to the coffee part. The cashier stated that the best-sellers are Black Sesame Latter & the Injeolmi Cream Latte, Green Herb Green Latte, and Dirty Matcha Latte. They will tell you how to drink it properly after your coffee is ready.

The first time I came here with a friend, I ordered Black Sesame Latter, which I did not like much and thought was ok & my friend ordered the Injeolmi Cream Latte with an extra espresso shot (FYI, this does not include coffee, and you need to add an extra shot). She liked it.

Next time I returned and ordered the Injeolmi Cream Latte with no coffee to try myself. I liked the mochi, and how it dipped with the cream on top it was so tasty and blended well together. It was a good combination. I drank the rest of the drink with the no coffee and it was less impressed than usual.
