This was one of the coolest and funnest things I have done in a while. When do you ever get to sleep in a caboose? I will admit it was kind of weird that it was in a rural part of town. I was expecting something a little more secluded, but Sparta is a very quiet, calm, quaint town (at least while we were there) I will also admit that I am glad I had ear plugs. It is close to a busy train track, but hey…. We are on a train 😂. And it is a very small space. But it has everything u need. And there is plenty to see within an hour or so of the area. I enjoyed reading the story of how it came to be. I recommend this to everyone and I loved every minute of it.

Very unique way to glamp. I stayed in the Northern Alberta for $330/night. It was somewhat clean as the entrance was sticky by the sink. I took my sandals off and stepped on the floor and it was sticky. The king size bed is comfortable, the pullout couch is great however the bed in the upstairs is just a queen mattress sitting on the floor. The outdoor patio is great to sit around and eat or play family card games and such. We used the firepit and played boccee in the field next to the caboose. There is also a park for kids to play relatively close. I think it's over priced for what is offered. I've stayed in amazing unique Airbnb's with countless amenities for less (inner city and campsite locations).

Super cool. The whole family loved the experience. The cabin was rustic but had more amenities than I expected. There was firewood, coffee and cream supplied. It’s a clean and quite campsite. The hosts were very friendly. I recommend!

Loved our stay! Cute caboose was larger than we expected. Awesome little cupola loft with sitting area and bed. Enjoyed feeding the fish and frogs in the pond. Didn't use the grill and fireplace, but those are available along with a horseshoe pit. Bring earplugs for the train whistle.

This place is a one-of-a-kind experience. If you are a rail fan or are married to a rail fan or just want to say you stayed somewhere totally unique this is the place to visit. It is quaint, quiet, and full of cool activities for an entire family. Lots of outdoor and indoor things to do and any kid I know is going to want to sleep in a caboose. Has kitchen facilities, bbq and fire pit. An incredible place!
