my husband and I live in Kent but we went down there because I was getting my hair done. we wanted to grab lunch after and just got lucky that we found this! it was exactly what I was looking for. I had the San Diego Sandwich which was a croissant with turkey and sprouts which I love, it had some kind of honey mustard in it and was really good! I also got potato salad which I thought was really good too. we liked the cute industrial decor and general small-town atmosphere. I love Little gems like this!

First visit, almost missed it, but so glad I turned around and parked in the big lot next door. We split a CYO sandwich and ate it before taking a photo, but trust me - tasted great! Boysenberry and chocolate pie were gobbled up while there, and a fruity krispie was thoroughly enjoyed later. Not much seating inside, so be prepared to take and go if there isn’t a seat - well worth stopping in for the pick up if that ends up being the case.

Sandwich was far from the size advertised, the woman was acting offended that the prices were way higher than their online menu, and when I suggested they should update that the rude rude woman said "I just said we are". I appropriately replied "Do it faster". Just matched energy I think. Needless to say go elsewhere and save money, time, and energy. Stay blessed. And this response just proved my point. Like I said trust me this woman is a rude disgruntled angry person the energy is not good here go elsewhere. Update: I submitted a BBB report on them. Look it up.

I wanted to love this place. My favorite places are small hole in the wall mom and pop restaurants.
The Cons:
I got the lunch special. Soup and sandwich combo. With a Philly steak sandwich and Tuscan white bean soup. Portion size left much to be desired considering the price. The sandwich was very small and the cup of soup was like a literal measuring cup size, but it cost about $12. I'm pretty sure the sandwich couldn't have been anymore dry and there was little to no flavor.
The Pros:
The soup was really yummy. The place was clean.
The other reviews were so good. Maybe I need to try it again. Maybe I got an off day or an unpopular item? I'm not sure.

We were heading to a Mt. Rainier trail from
Seattle and decides to have an early lunch (bodies were on Eastern time). The sandwiches (BLT, Turkey, and Billy Boy) were a little pricey ($50 for lunch including drinks, tax, and tip) but way better then the fast food sandwich shops. Service was excellent as well.

I've ordered catering from CJ's three times now: twice for groups of about 80, and once for a smaller sales group. Each time, CJ's perfectly executed the order.

For the most recent order, each person bought something different, including hot sandwiches with some substitutions, like no cheese on a Philly cheesesteak. I provided a spreadsheet and a pickup time. CJ's staff members labeled each order with the person's name. Every order was spot on.

We also ordered group side dishes of baked potato salad and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was piping hot when I picked up. It was the best mac and cheese I think I've ever had. CJ's also provided chocolate tartlets, which were the perfect size for a small sweet bite. The crust was deliciously flaky.

CJ's is always wonderful to work with. I look forward to doing business here again. They have a sense of caring you just can't get elsewhere.
