This was our first visit with some friends and it was one of the worst meals ever. I ordered the jumbo shrimp dinner and one of my friends ordered the ribeye rare.
My jumbo shrimp were small and rubbery. My friend’s steak was very thin and cooked well done We wasted $130 and will not be back.

Awesome restaurant with great views of the river! Delicious food - the shrimp and grits are perfectly seasoned and a plentiful portion. They also make one of the best mixed drinks I’ve ever had, the painkiller - if you like coconut, give it a try!

I was hesitant since the name included "bar", but this is a large restaurant with an enclosed small bar. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and the food is very good. The house-made gumbo is thick with pieces of seafood, sausage and okra, and is delicious ! The fried shrimp platter was very good, with eight moderately large, firm shrimp, coleslaw and fries. The prices were very fair, and the servers were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place, and I will return whenever I am in the area.

It's such a perfect, quaint little spot. Right on the river, a Hidden Gem. The lobster roll was so good, and my husband said the potatoes and corn on his steamed platter were very flavorful.

How much fun can this place be ...we had an excellent experience here. Beautiful setting. Friendly staff. Clean. The owner spoke with us. Super nice. I will be back. Thanks for a great first date!!

The boys found this place while we were driving. I'm so glad they did. They were so nice and the owner or manager came by our table several times and thanked us for stopping in. Our server was so nice! My son is a huge fan of crab legs. ? He had said he wasn't real hungry. He ate 5 crab leg clusters. He said they were soon good. He ate until he made himself sick. The gumbo was really really good, but had too much heat for me. It had an amazing taste, but more heat than I could personally handle. One of the boys got catfish and said it was excellent. I didn't personally like the crab dip, but it is something everyone else was eating and liked. The location is right on the water, but it was cold and winter when we stopped by so we didn't got outside. We will definitely stop by on our next trip to Gadsen. Loved this place!

Went here for the first time today and it was very good! Everything was fried perfectly and was seasoned very well....if you are sensitive to salt it may seem salty but for a normal taste bud it's perfect. The coleslaw was perfect it's not a mayo coleslaw and that's ok because it was fresh tasting and I appreciate that! We ordered a Philly cheesesteak to go and I took a bite when I got home it was so good definitely on my top 3 list now! We will be going back and will probably choose this place over the other 2 prominent seafood restaurants in the gadsden area..
