We loved our stay here! We flew to Anchorage a few days before our cruise began, and wanted to stay close to where our ice climbing trek was going to be. I liked what I read about them on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed. The fridge and pantry were stocked with anything we could have possibly needed to cook an awesome breakfast. We had to be on the glacier very early on the first morning, so we were delighted to find oatmeal and fruit included in the pantry for a quick breakfast! We made a delightful breakfast the next day, and there was plenty left that we couldn't possibly cook it all! When I first read the premise of their B&B I knew it was something we would enjoy. And we certainly did. We stayed in the Bear cabin, and it was everything we could have asked for. We did have to figure the hot water out, but once we let it warm up, we didn't have any issues. The cabin was stocked with everything we could have needed to make our stay comfortable. The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus! If I ever have an opportunity to go back to Palmer, I would love to stay here again!

My husband and I went to several hotels before coming to Butte's B & B. This is the very best country place to stay! The cabin has a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with washer and dryer and living room. The owner has breakfast fixings and a garden that can be picked from. Taxes are included which NEVER happens at the other hotels. It was extremely comfortable and we truly enjoyed lounging on the front deck every morning and evening. Can't wait to go back. Best kept secret!! It is about an hr drive from Anchorage but the ride is beautiful!

This place was amazing. We were here for a week and Jennifer was very friendly. The cabins were more than I expected, cable TV, nice beds, washer and dryer, some water temperature issues but it's better than camping. Fire pit at night was incredible. We all wanted to stay longer. And the view from you window while you cook beats the city any day. We would all stay again.

We found a gem when we found this cabin. I couldn't think of a thing that didn't have in this cabin for us. It is a one bedroom with a bathroom, small living room and a full kitchen. There is even a washer and dryer in the cabin with laundry soap and fabric softener sheets which was extremely helpful. We thought that the cabin was very clean and comfortable. Jen went out of her way to come say hi and make us feel welcome. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We were not impressed by our stay at Butte's Bethel last week. Though the cabin was clean and the bed was comfy, the water heater must have had issues because it completely ran out of hot water after about 30-45 seconds in the shower -- just in time to get all soapy and then painfully realize that the hot water was completely gone and an icy cold rinse was all that was left. There was a note warning us not to run the washing machine while using the shower (or something like that), but that was not the problem as the shower was the only thing using hot water at the time. (It's interesting to see that this is not a new issue. Others have complained about this in their reviews, but the owners haven't addressed the problem.) Also, we didn't find any that any vegetables were ready to pick, and there was no fruit in the refrigerator as noted in the description. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was disappointed in our stay here.

Great way to start our travels to the Anchorage to Denali areas. Very nice and interesting hostess. Made us feel very welcome. A nice plus wax the washer/dryer right in the room. Off the beaten path which was exactly what we wanted. I would definitely stay here again.

A nice cabin with significant water issues. Shower water temperature was impossible to regulate. A tankless water heater was either non-producing or sending scalding water to the shower mixing valve. The breakfast provisions were extremely sparce and were not replenished for our second day stay. Potatoes were the only item left from day one for our second breakfast. If we were supposed to find something in the garden..... well we would have starved.
