Stayed in this lovely B&B for two weeks recently. Everything was perfect, room was spotlessly clean, spacious, cosy atmosphere, in a quiet location. The kitchen is well equipped and roomy. The B&B is walking distance to ski lifts and restaurants. If you depend on public transport, the bus stop is right in front. And there is Carol, the operator of the B&B, a lovely lady, very forthcoming, helpful and accommodating who made mine and my friends stay there even better. Highly recommended |

We decided to stop in Girdwood (rather than Achorage) for a drive between Denali NP and Seward. Bud & Carol's B&B was a good choice. The B&B has 2 rooms on a ground floor, with independent access. Both rooms share a kitchen/dinning room area with a large table where breakfast is provided (coffee, tea, yougurt, boiled egg, fresh bread, cheese, fruit etc). We enjoyed our stay and found the location very handy to visit the Wildlife Conservation Center on arrival day and to continue to Whittier through the tunnel for the 26 Glacier Cruise the morning we left. Jack Sprat restaurant is around the corner. Carol provided a lot of information of the area.

This place is very quaint, cute and clean. Carol greeted us in the early evening and provided us with tons of information about the area and things to see and do. She also has a book that tells how the B&B got started and information like when to see the bore tides. Since there are only two rooms and our group had both, we had the place to ourselves. The kitchen area was large enough for all of us to eat and prepare our meals. If we have the opportunity to return we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely B&B in a very welcoming town. As others stated, we had our choice of either room so chose the one with best view. What a great night of sleep we had! Located in an area where we could walk out amongst the great view. Carol was such a lovely person, so very kind. She gave us some great ideas on a day we had nothing planned. By the way, the ice cream at her shoppe is out of this world!

The night we stayed here was the best in Alaska. The place is big, nice and clean. There are only 2 guest rooms. Since we were the only couple staying that night, Carol gave us the option to stay in any room we want. We had the entire place for us and we liked the corner room. The room was big with a TV, double sink and an attached bathroom. We checked-in late in the evening and were planning to go for a drive to the Portage glacier, which was only a 15 min drive from there. But the place looked so homely, that we cancelled all plans and decided to rather relax. The breakfast next morning was a treat; Carol had kept everything ready for us; tea, coffee, bread, eggs, cereals, juice, yogurt, fruits. We had a hearty breakfast! We talked to Carol before we left. She was such a warm person, loved talking to her

My wife and I stayed for a couple nights prior to our cruise to Vancouver. We arrived late and were able to easily enter the B&B. There are only two rooms and we had the larger of the two. As it turned out, we were the only ones there. Even better. The rooms are spacious with private baths. The common area is large and really gives the place a sense of space. Breakfast is hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, homemade bread along with milk, oj, and coffee. Plenty and filling. Met Carol on the last morning to pay the bill. She is very pleasant and gave us some good ideas for hiking the area. Highly recommend.

Perfect place for my wedding night! Our maid of honor & best man were comfortable in one room while we stayed in another. The breakfast selection tasted great and was self serve (allowing flexibility for busy schedules!) Very homey and clean. Enjoy your stay, we sure did!

Carol was very helpful that evening and giving us suggestions for our following day. Our room was clean and comfortable. Great stay!
