I stayed at Brooks Camp in July 2024. The room was clean, food was very good and all facilities were top-notch. However, that isn’t important. What is important is the fact that people who work there are simply AMAZING!

Let me tell you what happened. About 60 miles away from Prudhoe Bay I noticed that my motorcycle had a flat front tyre. I managed to get to the Brooks Camp and I asked at the reception if there was a motorcycle workshop nearby where I could fix my tyre (tyre went off the bead). She told me that she would make some calls in the morning. After breakfast, I went back to the reception and I was told that she called a few garages but they couldn’t fix the tyre but she spoke to her manager and he might be able to help. Terry, the manager, did something unbelievable and assigned one of his engineers to give me a hand with my motorcycle. I took the motorcycle to their garage, and we started fixing the tyre. To be honest, I was more of a spectator than a main actor. Fish “The Legend” fixed my tyre and I could continue my journey. I rode all 414 miles of Dalton Highway on that tyre before I changed it in Fairbanks. Excellent work – top quality!

When you are at the end of the world, you want to stay where you won’t be ignored when something goes wrong. So, if you are a solo traveller, this is the place to stay.

I was expecting a massive bill for fixing my tyre but I was told that they wouldn’t accept any money from a person in need. They only asked me to leave them a review. Those people saved my trip, and I’ll be forever in their debt. Once again, massive THANK YOU!

Best camp / hotel on the slope in my opinion, the staff is awesome, the rooms are great, every room has single status bathrooms and its own recliner with an adjustable desk. I think the food is very good, although some people don’t agree with me on that.

Brooks Camp is a great place to stay! We billeted here before and after a caribou hunt. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Richie made booking a breeze, Terry picked us up from the airport and made sure we had everything we needed and Bennie got us checked in and took a personal interest in making sure our stay was great. | The cost is very reasonable when you consider all meals and laundry facilities are included. The three meals a day are 4-star and I think I put on a couple pounds while I was there. There is also the Spike Room, a 24 hour/day self serve cafeteria that has all kinds of foods, snacks and drinks if you miss a meal or get the munchies. | If you're going to Deadhorse and need a place to stay, I highly recommend Brooks Camp.

The best place to stay in Deadhorse. It was clean. The staff were so friendly and super helpful. The food was amazing for all meals and the spike room gave us options for lots of food when we missed a meal due to our tour. It was so nice after the long drive on the Dalton to have a very comfortable place to relax.

Ahhhhhhh Brooks camp. A wonderful respite from the arctic temperatures and climate here in prudhoe bay. Friendly staff, wonderful food and, hot showers. If you are gonna stay for a while I hugely recommend a humidifier. It is EXTREMELY dry here. If you come from a humid climate that’s the thing to have. 24 hour spike room to satisfy your sweet tooth or your snack tooth. Highly recommend.

Super expensive but they've got all the necessities plus cool stickers. If you're on the North Slope you already know the kind of conditions you are dealing with, Brooks Camp store is a great place to get necessities. The markup is understandable considering the distance from EVERYTHING.

Just stayed there for a night after our hunt. Rooms were clean, food was excellent, and Terry and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave a few extra hours in our room until our flight plus a ride to the airport
