Great place to eat! Delicious smoked meats, collard greens, fries, and more. Wonderful sauce (although the amount of sauce is definitely skimpy). I'm celiac so haven't tried any sandwiches, but getting the meat by the pound or just requesting no bread works well. Minimal interior but it works. I've never visited when the place was very busy so service is pretty quick, though you may need to ring for someone to come out. Service is friendly if not effusive. Definitely recommended for a great Southern meal!

I give this place 5 stars. Mostly based on the atmosphere and how welcoming the staff was when we visited.

Good ribs, good beans, they may be a bit to saucy for me however, and I did not like the corn muffin, but that may be a preference.

Ribs had a good smoky flavor to them. The BBQ sauce was on the side which was good. It allows you to eat the ribs in their dry rub form, or sauce them up as you see fit.

The staff who was helping us, came by to see how we liked the food and if everything was going well.

He told us about the 3 large smokers they had and how many pounds of meat they are able to smoke per day.

This is a good and cozy spot if you want BBQ in the Tomah Wisconsin area.

I would go back.

Darren is the owner. He is very customer focused. Knowledgeable about his meats. Food was absolutely amazing! Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, we got all the sides and they were awesome. Top it off with 3 homemade sauces that were the best! Don't pass on his dry rub either! We will be back alot!

Had lunch here today. Had the 1/2 rack and 2 sides. Potato salad and born bread was tasty, the ribs could have been hotter.
My wife had the pulled chicken and that was tasty as well but could have been hotter.

*Update* The owner himself called me to correct the situation and that spoke volumes to me about his professionalism and how he wants to run his business. I appreciated him reaching out very much! Thanks!

Partially my own fault for not checking before I left, but ordered pulled pork nachos (to go) just now and got to work and had everything BUT the pulled pork. Paid $10 for chips and some salsa. Frustrating. How do you forget that I did call them to let them know.

Family of 4 and everyone enjoyed.
Pulled pork and ribs were really great. I had asked if they could cut the ribs prior to then coming out due to having kids with, and was told this comes standard so no need to request. Very pleased with this as ribs at other restaurants just come as a giant rack you need to fuss with.
Cornbread muffins were amazing.
Fries fresh and crispy.
Mac and cheese a bit dry but great homemade flavor.
