Bob's historically gets amazing reviews and for good reason!
The atmosphere, service and food are stellar! It has a warm, inviting seating arrangement that allows for intimate conversation at your table or booth. We picked the dining area opposite of the bar and it was quiet and cozy in our booth adjacent to the kitchen.
Emma was our server, and she went above and beyond to make sure every question was answered and every need met. Details like lemon in our filtered ice water & a stack of napkins provided (without being requested) made us feel cared for as well as her friendly, warm nature made for pleasant, relatable conversation.
The food was phenomenal! Appetizers of loaded potato wedges perfecting crisped, lightly breaded garlicky cheese curds and marinara sauce were very nicely fried in fresh oil. The chicken wings had a decent amount of not too spicy sauce.
We were spoiled with generous portions of Cod, fresh mild slaw, not too sweet onion rings, lightly seasoned fries, and OH MY GOSH the sourdough burger was THE BEST I've ever had due to it's soft bread, perfectly crisped edges, Bacon, and a touch of mild cheese, with the most tender, juicy burger ever! A delight for the senses. Enjoy every moment! You will have leftovers to eat later in the day or next day since they are super generous with their portions.

The food was decent, but if you’re dining with a large group, I would not recommend this place. We had an event planned here for 30 people, and they seated us at one large table for 20 and a smaller table for 10. After waiting 40 minutes outside just to be seated, we had only one waitress assigned to take our orders.

I was at the smaller table, and after waiting another 30 minutes, when it was finally my turn to order, I was told that only drink orders were being taken at that time—no food. When they eventually started taking food orders, it took another 40 minutes before I could place mine. To make matters worse, I don’t think I received the beer I ordered at that time.

During this 90-minute ordeal just to place an order, I approached the front desk to see if anyone could assist us, only to be told by a waiter to “just sit down and wait”—which was delivered in a sarcastic tone that made me feel as if I was being unreasonable for asking. While our waitress was clearly doing her best within the constraints of their system, the attitude of the waiter was unhelpful and dismissive.

Overall, while the food was acceptable, the service experience left a lot to be desired, especially for larger groups. I don’t think a family-owned restaurant will ever give their customer such experience instead will finding ways to accommodate. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their service for future guests.

Waited 20 minutes for an order in the lobby. Asked hostess about it. Her response “are you sure you’re at the right location.” Sure am. She left. Waited 10 more minutes with other people until someone finally showed up to seat them. Asked again. Was told noncommittally that they would “check on that when they get a chance”. Proceeded to fiddle around at the desk for 5 minutes. Hostess comes back and I ask her to check on it. She cuts me off to say rudely “did you just ask someone else?” I sure did. I waited 30 minutes to find out someone else came in picked up $100 worth of food and walked out the front door without anyone checking. Had the hostess checked when I first asked instead of being passive aggressive i wouldn’t have had to wait a half hour past the pickup time to find out about the screw up. They did not offer to remake the order.

Service was great our waiter gave us recommendations. The food was good the fact that the fries don't come seasoned was a pleasant surprise, the waiter informed us the owner believes the customer should decide how they want to season it to meet their dietary needs. My only criticism is the restaurant itself. We were in the back where all the windows are and I immediately noticed a smell I think was coming from the carpet. I think it may be time to wash it.

Bob’s Burgers and Brew in West Richland is a very nice place to dine. The staff is very polite and made sure our dinner was good and our drinks were full. The Pacific cod fish and chips were excellent, moist and not over done. The portions exceeded my expectations too.

I’ll be going there again soon.

Love it. It's much better than Red Robin. We don't have these in our area. Came over there to meet up with family for lunch. The food was fresh and delicious with much more choice than just burgers. Staff was attentive. Great place.

For a burger, french fry, and the best onion rings I have ever had...this place is doing it right. The extra onion rings on the side could feed an army. We love cheeseburgers & the buns are fresh brioche, meat & toppings perfect. The only thing not so great was our buffalo chicken wrap was so spicy, we couldn't finish it or taste anything else in the wrap except for vinegar & hotness. So dont order that, or maybe ask for lighter hot sauce ratio. Would come here again, just sticking to the basics. Their drink menu & options are extensive. They do carry chukanut cheesecake, which is divine.

*Just went back recently, hubs got the Bonanza burger, was a huge burger & was delicious! I ordered the Chicken, Ranch,Bacon burger sub a brioche bun. The chicken was perfectly cooked & the burger was out of this world delicious.I got the clam chowder soup, I really liked it.
My daughter got the lighter fare burger, was not as good as the others. A little patty, on a normal sized bun...a bit dry. I Kind of expected a smaller bun. Would order a regular burger next time.
The fries were dry on the inside, like over cooked. I would get the Jo-Jos, they were better, more moist.
Side note, wait was quite a while for food to come out. Make sure you a lot of extra wait time.
