Amazing Alaskan Retreat! BlueWater BaseCamp is an absolute treasure in the Eklutna Valley, just a short drive from Anchorage. I stayed here as part of a three-day adventure organized by Revel Treks + Tours, and it was the perfect base for exploring the stunning surroundings. The cabins are beautifully designed with high-quality bedding, kitchenettes, and all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail is incredible, and the property itself is nestled in nature, with snow-capped mountains and serene forests all around.

The hosts, Russ and Teal, go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome. You can tell how much love and care went into building this place. If you're lucky, you might even meet their dogs, Ranger and Esmeralda, who add even more appeal to the place.

If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat with access to fantastic outdoor adventures like hiking, kayaking, and more, BlueWater BaseCamp is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back one day!

This January, our family of 4 spent a heavenly weekend in one of the large chalets at BlueWater BaseCamp. It was exactly what we needed to recover from the busyness of the holidays and the slump of deep winter. We enjoyed quality family time in the peaceful solitude of Alaskan wilderness but without having to rough it! The cabins provide all the creature comforts of home (and then some). The entire experience is so thoughtfully designed with comfort, class and service being top of mind. We didn't even need to pack much because BlueWater has it all - heat, electricity, kitchen, cookware, bathroom, shower essentials, cozy bedding, even wifi... We simply threw together a few meals and personal items and showed up. Getting out for an adventure has never been so easy!

Just wrapped up a two-night stay at BlueWater and had a fantastic time. Our cabin was super cute and cozy. BlueWater is perfect for a relaxing nature retreat, with hiking/biking/kayaking opportunities at Eklutna Lake just minutes away by car. Awesome place to get away from the city/relax/enjoy eklutna! They finished out the insides of these cabins very well and they are super functional and comfortable. 10/10 recommend staying regardless if you are from out of state or a resident and looking for a nice quiet getaway.

Couldn’t imagine a better cabin in a better location. Each cabin is full of everything you could want for a luxurious stay. We saw black bear cubs on the property and moose nearby. Service was incredible and Teal made us feel like family. Can’t wait to come back!
