This place is incredible. The views that can be admired from the dining room are spectacular. They have an extensive menu daily. They also have a bar area. The food is good, but the service is awesome. The staff here is very attentive and committed to providing you with the best they can offer. The chef will personally come to your table and inquire about your experience , as well as any special request you may have. I really enjoyed my visit here. The restaurant can be found within McKeever Lodge inside Pipestem Resort. I highly recommend this place for the views, the experience, and also good food.

We were, unfortunately, disappointed with our dining experience at Bluestone today. We arrived around 2:00 and after viewing the buffet offerings, which were somewhat already depleted, asked to order an entree, but were told the dinner options were only available after 5. We were brought sweet tea, instead of the unsweetened that we had ordered, and I was never offered a coffee refill (at $4 instead of the $2.99 listed on the online menu). Our food was just so-so. My Caesar Salad was missing the croutons, but was fresh, although the dressing appeared to be a low-quality bottled type. The blue cheese dip for the wings (which were not that impressive) lacked any resemblance in taste or texture to blue cheese dressing. My husband's brown beans tasted suspiciously like they were canned beans (maybe Luck's? ), and the cornbread was hard on one edge and appeared to have been microwaved longer than necessary. When I inquired about the menu price differences we were told that the website menus hadn't been updated in "two or three" years. The waitress forgot to leave a pen with the bill, and my husband finally just walked up to the register and waited for someone to notice him. What was supposed to be a late Valentine's outing ended up being, really, a good laugh, the joke being on us, with a beautiful view included. Maybe we were just unlucky today, and maybe the food and service ARE normally great there, as some of the other reviews stated. But we don't plan to return to find out.

Excellent dining experience at Bluestone Dining Room! I enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here, and both meals were fantastic. The food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying, and the service was top-notch. A cozy, welcoming atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend!

My wife and I decided to go after church to eat from their lunch buffet. We were not disappointed the food was great quality and they had a great variety. Great job dayshift cooking staff for your hard work today. Also want to say the dining room staff did an excellent job today very professional.

While staying at the lodge at Pipestem State Park, we had dinner here on our first night.

Upon entering, the dining room is well appointed and it was not busy at all. We were seated immediately and our wait staff did a fine job during the entire Dining experience.

We placed our order and it took a slightly long time to get our food but it was not extremely long.

When the food came out, it looked amazing! See pics.

I had the WV Trout Almandine which came with veggie du jour! My wife had the Sacory Smothered Chicken Breast with veggie du jour!
My meal was cooked perfect but her chicken was a little over done so it was dry! The salad bar was decent but small, which is fine!

The 3 star rating comes from the fact that my wife found egg shells in her chopped eggs that she put on her salad from the salad bar! They did take a small fee of about $5 off of our bill but that doesn’t change the nasty feeling of biting into egg shells!

The other part of the rating was due to the fact that although the pricing was reasonable, the desert pricing was outrageous! See menu pics!

Delicious food options and excellent service. The drinks were great. Will definitely be returning to this location inside the McKeever Lodge.

This place was amazingly amazing there was a waitress named Angie who was top notch and on her game like no bodies business kept the tea/lemonade coming never had a opportunity where I had a empty cup! Very sweat down to earth!!!! Definitely recommend amazing quality food great portions for 2 no more than 40 bucks!

We dined outside 2 nights in a row. Our meals were excellent. The trout, salmon, cuban burger and ribs were Outstanding! Try the fried pork rinds, they were still crackling on the plate! The service was amazing
