What a lovely brunch spot! I keep telling myself I will save room for a baked treat at the end but I am always delightfully stuffed by the end. It’s not always possible to substitute meat for avocado but our server Vincent made it happen for me for my eggs benedict this morning, and it was delicious. In general, I would suggest Bleu Door for vegetarian food but the selection isn’t vast, although the selection available is delicious and they have a tofu scramble which I’m yet to try. I can’t wait to try the bread pudding! It looks amazing in the display!!

Fantastic food, I had a hard time choosing but our server Vincent steered me straight with bakery items. I got the house Biscuits and gravy and it was phenomenal with or without a habanero sauce side. The espresso martini was also well balanced and enjoyable, I'd absolutely come again.

For years we purchased take out baked goods from this Vancouver, especially over the holidays. But today we came back to Vancouver and found that they have expanded to a wonderful dining room, that was well-lit and bustling with casual diners during the Saturday brunch hours. We took advantage of the website to reserve our place in line and were promptly seated upon arrival. Vincent took care of us throughout our meal including champagne (served with both orange and grapefruit juice), beignets with lemon curd, and my new favorite, the breakfast pot pie! The food was superb and our waiter was fantastic. He took time to describe some fantastic lunch choices that I will be happily back to try - beginning with the curry chicken sandwich!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Blue Door Cafe and Bakery, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal.

The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries; they were melt-in-your-mouth delightful. The menu offered a great variety, ensuring there was something for everyone, whether you’re a fan of hearty breakfasts or light lunches.

However, what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service provided by Vincent and Kaylee. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel right at home. Vincent was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with excellent recommendations. Kaylee’s cheerful demeanor and prompt service ensured that our needs were met without feeling rushed. Their teamwork and dedication to providing a memorable dining experience were evident throughout our visit.

Overall, Blue Door Cafe and Bakery is a gem that I highly recommend. The combination of delicious food and stellar service, especially from Vincent and Kaylee, makes it a must-visit destination. I can’t wait to return for another delightful meal!

What a wonderful afternoon spent with my best friends enjoying the most wonderful pastries and tea sandwiches. I have always been a huge fan of Bleu Door but their Galentines High Tea was next level. Highly recommend!!

Cute little spot with great breakfast/lunch options. We had the beignets, biscuits and gravy, quiche, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was super fresh, prepared correctly, and delicious. The trio of hot sauces they have is also really nice. Everyone we interacted with was very kind/hospitable and our food came out very quick despite them being pretty busy. They also have a small "to go" bakery stand attached and it has lots of yummy offerings too. I dont remember what pastries our group got but everyone was happy with them as well.

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the lady bleu and did not regret it one bit. The dishes the food comes in were super cute and the atmosphere so friendly and kind. Our server, Benny, made sure we were taken care of and checked in multiple times. His recommendations basically were our entire order! I will definitely come back and will recommend this place to others.

If you are thinking about visiting Bleu Door Bakery in Downtown Vancouver, don't hesitate, go now! This place is a gem. Friendly staff, fresh/artsy decor, creatively crafted cocktails, good coffee, and the food! Nice vegan options, I had the biscuits and mushroom gravy with tofu egg. The biscuit was tender and flaky, the gravy, savory and satisfying. Portions were just right.
Our server Vincent's recommendations were right on and we all enjoyed our brunch so much. We meet once a month for a girls' brunch and I think we've found our new spot.
