Located on the lower North fork of the Skagit River, been comming to this area for like 50 years, brought both my sons here when I was raising them. Back then I had a 20 foot GLASPAR cuddy cabin with a V-8 for power. Was very fast on flat waters .

As a long term tenant here, I felt it appropriate to speak my mind regarding the bad reviews left. First & foremost, Paul & Jung are very good people. People who are trying to run a business & having to deal with a bunch of BS all the time. The entire time I've been here they've been nothing but kind and helpful to me and my pet both... As stated, the bad reviews have been left by people who were evicted for not following the rules, trashing the laundry room & costing Paul time & money having to fix the machines repeatedly. This place is extremely quiet & peaceful. I have hosted multiple BBQ's; music, cocktails, the works. NO ONE makes noise past 10pm on any given day, because we follow the rules. I have never once been questioned about my electric or water use because I am not a wasteful person. If you're going to rent here an important thing to remember is this is a marina, so NO. There is not a bunch of grass to be destroyed by trucks, boats, and RVs coming through here all the time. It would be a complete waste of time and money to plant it when it's going to get trashed. This place is not a junkyard nor does it look like it, all of the RVs are in extremely good condition, there's not nasty looking tarps everywhere, no broke down vehicles, & I absolutely love my long term cabin. I have lived in several parks & know what junky nasty ones are. This is not it, & the owners deserve more respect than what's being displayed here.

They charge $1,000 a month (not including utilities) for a small concrete slab and act like they’re giving you a discount because “it’s cheaper than any other RV park around.” The difference is other RV parks are better ran and give people more than 2 feet of space between RVs. There is absolutely no privacy and I have seen the owner come behind and around our RV when he thought no one was home to inspect our site and turn off our water. The residents are nosy and love to complain about the smallest of things. The owners are greedy and always find something to get angry about.

Edited to add a response: there was only ONE time either of you talked to me about the dog poop or the car that I had not yet gotten running again - and that was when Paul came and banged on my door screaming at me and gaslighting me, straight up lying to my face about claiming to have talked to me before. Yes I signed a paper, over 3 years ago, that I never got a copy of. If you’re going to hold tenants accountable for things, hold them accountable by all means. But when I had been there 3 years, one of the most quiet & respectful tenants, don’t decide one day to just get a wild hair and go on a spray paint and screaming rampage (I was NOT the only victim of Paul’s rampage this day) and I’d also like to add that afterwards they threatened to charge me $60 a day with no notice! I pleaded for them to just let me pay for a whole month (I even paid extra!) and luckily avoided that.

And unsurprisingly, you are lying again saying it took many months to get me to leave. You screamed that I had a 30 day notice, yet never served me any papers (legal req in WA state to evict) and I left anyways in just over 30 days. Lies, gaslighting, more lies. You’ll find this and more at Blake’s Skagit Prison Park and boat launch.

Have fun running the trailer park Lahey! There’s a special place in hell for landlords like you two. And reading all these other 1 star reviews I know I’m not the first victim and I certainly won’t be the last.

The owners are petty, will nickel and dime you for everything. Paul (the husband) went on a spray paint rampage marking things he wanted people to move, and came and banged on my door drunk one evening right after I got home from work and asked why they did this, and started screaming at me because I hadn’t picked up my dogs poop from that morning (right behind my trailer - not in a publicly used area) and said that I was being evicted because of that. I was never served papers, but got out anyways because who wants to be around that? (On a side note, I was charged by their big off leash dog while walking my dog on leash on 3 separate occasions)

This is not a “resort”, it’s a trailer park. It’s dusty, dirty, and stinky. They are always running heavy machinery around 7 days of the week. There’s been a giant pit and gravel pile in the middle of the drive in where their large propane tank is for at least the last 3 years. The owners have 2 shops located in the middle of their RV spaces where they are frequently banging away on equipment. The laundry machines are a joke, and do not wash or dry adequately. A lot of nights, the neighbors are up til almost midnight blasting music or working on their vehicles. There’s virtually no privacy. Some of the long term residents are really creepy, and will walk around just staring at people.

All in all a horrible place to park, be it for a short or long term duration. Living there kind of felt like a fever dream, a world where everything is just slightly off and uncomfortable, and you’re always waiting for the next thing to go wrong or for something to burst into flame.

I was charged nearly $1100 the last couple months I was there, for various fees and up charges based on nothing really. The spaces are worth $500 tops.

In contrast, the surrounding area is beautiful, with 2 separate public beach access points that don’t see a lot of traffic, and Snow Goose Produce about a mile away.

Don't go here with tent. Not sure how good it is for RVs, but it's basically unsuitable for tent camping even though they advertise tent sites on their website. Small gravel pads, impossible to use pegs, no water taps for tents, very noisy in the night with boats passing literally meters from you till very late. On the other hand, it wasn't expensive.

When I called to make my reservation, they said they had a spot that would fit out travel trailer. When we got there, it was next to a large storage unit and on the other side it had a long fence. We barely were able to get our truck and trailer into the site. We couldn't hook up our hose for septic because we couldn't get close enough to the hook up. We stayed that night and left the next day. I called them to get our money back for the next three days that we were going to stay and they would not reimburse us. The camp ground was gross. Would not recommend this place at all.

Hands down a great spot to stay at. Right on the water with a cool breeze that comes off of it. Definitely feels nice when it's hot out. Owners are fantastic people, the wife had me in a monthly spot in about a week an half. Also she kept me updated the whole time when one was going to be available. The husband also is great guy he came down an moved my trailer for me an gave me hand setting it up. The site is super quiet, especially at night you can almost hear a pen drop. The people that stay here are super friendly an helpful. Also this is a super safe spot left my truck unlocked multiple times even left the keys in it, an not one time was any thing messed with. The owners definitely do a good job on making this a safe environment. All around a good place to stay at an pretty much will recommend it to any of my friends an family.

Stayed here for a few weeks. The complaints here are totally valid. It did look like a prison camp and the owners are difficult to work with. Record any and all interactions with them because they will lie to you, they will "forget" things, and they will yell and scream at you if you hold them to their own word. I recorded every interaction from booking all the way through exit and they did all kinds of shady things like:

- Charged me an extra $50 when I arrived after telling me I had a nice RV (I guarantee it was economic profiling)

- Pretended to not speak English very well to excuse bad communication. (As a 2nd generation Korean this trope quickly fell apart for Jung) she communicates fine but pretends to have difficulty understanding you just to undercut you.

- Slapped my hand several times in anger and when I told her not to hit me she told me she was allowed to hit me because it's her space.

- Jung canceled a debit card payment before it went through then said she "called the bank" who said I entered the wrong PIN. Oddly enough banks don't handle CC transactions since they're handled through an intermediary 🤔.

- When I tried to pay for my second month Jung demanded I use my bank card to pay and I refused because I didn't trust them. Paul threatened to kick me out and said he'd call the sheriff to "restrain me" and when I told him he didn't have that right Jung screamed "I don't care about your US rights!" (Again, I have the recording of this entire exchange)

- The dock is also in illegal shape and they won't fix it because according to Paul it isn't worth his time to fix. He says he can make $1000 a day on his excavator so why would he fix the dock? They've had boats break off the dock before. It's unsafe, gross, and just an eyesore.

- One guy drove his car into the ditch on the road one night and left it there until I called the sheriff the next day. Paul pulled him out with an excavator and they left garbage in the road and the irrigation ditch for quite some time afterwards and it was gross. I'll attach a picture.

I also agree with all the statements about the garbage. It's way too small for the amount of sites and they only emptied it twice when I was there despite it being full 95% of the time.

In short this place is run by miserable people who clearly inherited the business from a relative and have zero pride in their space and zero respect for the folks who pay them money. Some of the folks who stay there are friendly though some are convicted violent felons, all I spoke with are unhappy with the management.
