Their pastries alone are worth the trip to Bainbridge. We got two pastries to share, and they’re giant! Loved the cinnamon roll especially since it was so fluffy, but not too sweet.

Not too crowded on Saturday, about 930. Scones were excellent, both the lemon blueberry and the cheddar dill. Orange sweet roll was fine, glad we split it and had the scones too. Coffee and tea were fine, and I'm looking forward to our next visit. Staff was patient when we didn't know what we asked since the large family in front of us was blocking the case.

I got a hot cafe latte from Blackbird Bakery on my way to Bainbridge Island. The quality of their coffee is great. The customer service was fast and the ambience was amazing as well. I wish they were open later, as I went there around 3.55 pm and was afraid I wouldn’t be able to place my order. Fortunately, I saw quite a few people entering the cafe after I did. Overall, a nice choice for good coffee.

Blackbird bakery has great reviews and we were looking forward to going here. When we got here, they didn’t have the pastries we wanted as we probably arrived too late. Unfortunately, the coffee was just OK. The shop itself is really cool and the staff was nice, but not over the top friendly. This bakery is on a main strip so there’s steady foot traffic. We like this place, but the our expectations may have been too high.

TLDR; super long and slow lines, really nice pastries.

When we got here (9.30am), the line probably had 7-8 groups ahead of us, and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the front. I got the savory croissant which was overall pretty quite nice. Unfortunately it felt a bit oily (not buttery) to me - I let it sit in the paper bag for a couple hours, after which it was perfect since the bag soaked up all the extra oil/butter.

Incredible quiche and a great croissant. The quiche was light as a cloud and perfectly seasoned. Don't miss out on this place! There's often a line but it moves quick.

This is such a charming little cafe with amazing breakfast options! I especially enjoyed the spinach quiche which was decadent and creamy with a perfectly baked crust. We also tried the cinnamon roll which was soft and fluffy as well as the savory pastry which was flaky and filling. Loved this as a stop to grab some pastries to-go and save for tomorrow's breakfast.

Lots of street parking along the main roads, very easy to find a spot.
