My husband and I spent 5 nights at The Blackberry Inn in September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was done beautifully and was very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious and so are the afternoon cookies! Steve is so fun to chat with and he had great suggestions for hiking and visiting the park as well as local restaurants to enjoy. I would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Yosemite!

The BlackBerry Inn was an amazing experience and must be one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We had a two night stay but wished it could have been longer. On arrival we were shown to our accommodation by Alex who informed us we had been upgraded to Bridal Veil Falls. The room was amazing, very comfortable and extremely well furnished. Outside our room were two rocking chairs and our breakfast table. The attention to detail makes your stay extra special. Particularly loved the cookies!|Whilst there we saw humming birds, woodpeckers, blue jays and wild turkeys. The inn is located on a loop road away from the Yosemite main road making it a very peaceful and tranquil location. |We dined at the nearby Lucky Buck cafe which was ideal. The entrance to Yosemite National Park is about a thirty minute drive away.

My husband and I stayed at the Blackberry Inn for a quick trip to Yosemite while on a road trip in California. I booked Blackberry because it had great reviews and proximity to the Big Oak Flat entrance to the park, and it did not disappoint. The room was spacious (we stayed in the Half Dome), bed was comfortable (most comfortable bed on our entire trip), and it was a peaceful getaway and perfect place to relax. Steve’s breakfast was absolutely delicious and we paid for lunches for our day in the park, which came with snacks and in a thermal lunchbox to keep cold while we were out and about. Steve also gave us recommendations for dinner, which we went to twice while we were in the area. I’m not sure I would stay anywhere else while visiting Yosemite, thanks to the Blackberry Inn for a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time at Blackberry Inn. We debated on staying closer or even inside Yosemite but decided this looked like a really nice place! We loved it so much we tried to get a third night with them but they were booked up! It was a very easy drive to Yosemite and Steve was a wealth of information on must do’s when we got there! He brought us a fresh pot of coffee each morning at 6AM! It was just perfection! Breakfast was delicious and bed was very comfortable! The bathroom had a fantastic walk in shower as well as a huge soaking tub! Highly recommend!

A lovely romantic setting with beautiful rooms, fantastic hosts in Steve and Alex who provided great advice and tips for getting the most out of our stay. Lovely breakfasts that easily accommodated my wife’s gluten free dietary needs set us up for every day. Conveniently located for the park, surrounding areas and local restaurants. Our only regret was that we couldn’t spend more time there with our pack days in Yosemite. I highly recommend The Clouds Rest, a lovely room with great views.

Can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at the Blackberry Inn. The host, Steve was so helpful with making our plans for our Yosemite visit,

The Inn is gorgeous. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was sublime and creative.

Having the deck right off our room where we could sit and eat breakfast and watch the turkeys every morning and the horses across the way was such an amazing experience. At night, there is absolutely no light pollution and the stars are so bright.

When you arrive, you see about 20 hummingbirds coming out of the shrubs and feeding on their hummingbird feeders

BlackBerry Inn truly is an enchanted place to stay and we hope to be back for a future visit

Blackberry Inn Yosemite is our favourite place we’ve ever stayed!
The location is perfect and very picturesque. It’s just a short drive away from Yosemite National Park entrance. We preferred this to staying inside the park as it was more peaceful and relaxing and, located in Stanislaus National Forest, just as scenic.
Each morning we had coffee, tea and fruit followed by a lovely homemade vegan breakfast on the porch and Steve gave us amazing recommendations for walks and things to see in the park and local area and even for our onward travel.
We looked forward to returning to the Inn each day, to our spacious, cosy room which had been refreshed and at Steve’s recommendation we also sat in the lovely garden every evening to stargaze.
Steve and the Blackberry Inn staff were so lovely and we can’t wait to come back again.

Steve and Alex are fantastic hosts. The breakfast Steve makes is excellent. Every morning something different but every morning of the same high quality. It was a delight to share stories with eachother about travel experiences. For European people: when you book a room and when you receive the booking confirmation it might come across that this boutique hotel is very strict and inflexible. I discovered that it is part common in California to communicate this way and they just want to make sure everything is clear. Our stay was delightfull. The room was decorated with eye for detail and in line with the specific style, which i am not sure if you could call it Victorian. I initially wanted to stay inside Yosemite Park, but was too late to be able to book anything. But even if you book way in advance this hotel is sure recommendable. Steve can always give you advice about where to go in Yosemite park. All and all a very pleasant stay.
