Looking for the chamber of commerce and drove past the "visitor's center" three times. But this is both, just like the sign on the building says.

Vickie was very helpful and had nice local resources. They close at 1pm, so get there early.

There is a walking path behind the center that can be accessed during the center's business hours.

Stopped by for a picnic! Pretty picnic area next to the water, you go through the building to get there. The woman working was very kind, glad we stopped by.

Hidden gem. Might not look like much from the highway but a great ecosystem, hiking trail and pond resides inside. Small, relies on donations and has a museum attached it is totally worth a stop.

Information center, restrooms and a museum. Short trail suitable for all ages is very pleasant and winds around a riparian area.

Closes too early, friendly staff, nice pond to watch nature. Quiet, yet front entrance doesn't show the oasis that is hidden behind. Don't miss the beauty beyond the building. Super clean bathrooms. 👍 in my book, rare jewel!
