I love their matcha and coffee but they need to do better about greeting customers and providing customers with their order. There are people waiting for the order and when we ask a second time miraculously it’s ready. Seems like they tend to ignore you and not pay attention to people when they come pick up the order. I get it your busy but there’s a reason behind that and it’s because people enjoy your coffee. It needs better customer service.

I travel a lot for work in San Diego county and I frequent Better Buzz in multiple locations. I think the coffee at Better Buzz is the best coffee around. This location fails to meet all expectations when it comes to service and coffee quality. I have held off for about a year on writing a review for this San Marcos location thinking the issues I’ve encountered are isolated. The management/ownership at this location seems to not care of basic standards for service and quality of products. The service is lacking and everyone working here are teenagers not happy to be there. I have ordered hot coffee with loose lids, anytime I order coffee it’s not what I ordered. This morning it happened again and I’m over it. I’m definitely not going back to this branch of Better Buzz. The leadership at this location needs to get a grip!

I’ve been meaning to try Better Buzz coffee after living in the area for some time now, and the first impression was definitely not a pleasant one. I ordered a medium latte with oat milk, pretty simple order but when I received my $7 plus cup, it was 3/4 full, the top was covered in a layer of dust and when I opened up the cover there was a fly on top of the foam. I wanted to be impressed but with these factors considered, I’m definitely not coming back.

This place has no control of how they take orders in the drive-thru. They let people come in from anywhere and just cut in front in the line. They take orders completely out of order. Complete madness. Just trying to get a drink. Love the coffee. Hate trying to order the coffee.

I've been a customer of better buzz for years! I go out of my way to come and get a coffee from Oceanside... in the past 2 visits (which have occurred in the past week), the customer service is horrible!! It's disappointing 😞 I won't be coming to this location anymore... the batista are rude and the baristas who take orders from the kiosks are rude. Love the product, but you should invest in friendly, personable employees.

Another recommended spot that I would probably be at daily if I was a local. Hopefully they open one up in Las Vegas because this coffee shop was the best one I've tried since our visit to San Marcos.

Love the drinks. Don’t understand how their mobile pick up process works. You order ahead to skip waiting but still wait as long as if you ordered on the spot. And it’s not like there is the usual massive car line. I’ve ordered ahead twice and went up to the window where I can see my order, but have to endlessly wait until someone acknowledges me or when they finish their conversation with each other.
