For an upscale hotel, the prices are almost always quite reasonable. The rooms are nice and the property is well kept.
They offer incentives through their app that makes it really worth staying over.
Within walking distance you can grocery shop, eat Chinese food, some excellent Mexican food, and even get paid to donate your blood plasma.
In case you're not into walking, also within walking distance is also 2 different rental car companies.

The night staff for maintenance doesn't do anything! A soda spill stayed all night eventhough the front desk was called. A guy came out on his patio and started play music loud at 3a.m! The corner chair in the room needs to be leather or vinyl for easy wiping the chairs are worn. No security at night, there was a fight that last way to long in a room bldg B! The ice machine on the 3rd floor bldg A didn't work due to lack of proper maintenance (OSHA) I checked!

Very bad odor in the room the door wouldn't lock 🔐 when you call the front desk no one answers when they do talk very unprofessionally and have a nasty attitude I was put in a room that wasn't clean cannabis and nasty smell the door didn't lock heater didn't work stains on the sheets and towels instead nice housekeeper apologize gave me clean towels and soap etc I called the office twice to see if I can get moved to a different room they told me no at 1:30 in morning they were finally able to move me to a different room another thing me and other co-workers notice when you call to speak to a higher up or manager you don't get no response the girls at the front desk are usually sitting there looking at their cell phone or around in a back room there's supposed to be two security guards I had no help when I was leaving pu8t in my luggage in my car for work the morning for work Sunday morning 5:00 three men at the hotel I'm one female by myself other customers heard the interaction
You have to worry about your safety and there's cameras was told there were several incidents when I gave the key to the front desk and let them know Jesus just looked at me with a smirk on her face
They want me to come back to make it up to me I'm still waiting for what are they going to do for me!?!
There's a corporate supervisors going to reach back out to me! Im Travel LVN 🏥 they got my hard earned money$ 4 days unacceptable

When you charge almost $200 , $184 to be exact, you should be about your business and have employees trained to be $184 worthy. Hospitality is the service of the hotel business and a room is provided with this service. It's their business to at minimum provide a clean room. Ours was not clean neither was the 2person shower, in fact it was dirty. This was an expensive lesson. I will not be returning to Best Western & Heritage Inn for any of my traveling needs. This place of business lacks any form of hospitality and at best provides a $79 dollar room so your hard earned money is better spent purchasing a tent at least the dirt will be yours. Big disappointment!

Had to stay here for a work trip; area is okay but the service was good. Woman at the front was friendly and my room was clean which is huge for anyone staying at places like this

They have free breakfast from 6am to 9am which was nice they had alot of different breakfast styles and I got to enjoy a free meal before checking out. Good spot if you need to crash the night for travel !

We stayed one night while travelling north along the I-5 looking for a quick stop with a hot tub. The good: excellent breakfast with lots of options including an excellent scrambled egg with cheese, mushrooms and spinach; king room was spacious and clean with fridge and microwave. Not so good: rooms facing March Ave are very noisy; access to rooms for luggage cart is not well marked at night. Access from I-5 or I-99 not great especially during busy times. The hot tub was ok, pool not heated. It's an older hotel but our room was in good shape and well equipped.

We stayed here in 2016, and the stay was great. I don't what happened to this place, maybe management has changed because it's been turned into a homeless drug addict half-way house. They must think that taking public tax dollars to house drug addicts is the way to make money, good luck! There was open drug use in the common areas, all the hallways smell like pot constantly. You cannot escape it. One day we watched as one of the addicts seemed to have a mental breakdown and was outside her room screaming at someone that wasn't there from the 3rd floor balcony.||The people in the room next to us on our last 2 nights were smoking cigarettes and dope in their room and it was coming into our room through the bathroom exhaust fan. When I called the front desk to let them know it was about 9:40PM and we were basically in bed ready to get some sleep. They offered to move us to a new room. I don't want to move, I'm not the problem. Instead, deal with the people that are the problem and ask them to leave. I'm sure that none of the people smoking drugs and cigarettes were charged the $300 smoking fee. I'm also sure that if I had been smoking in my room, I would have been charged because I'm paying for my room with my money, and it's not being given to me by the state.||The fireside bar area used to be great back in 2016. I used it to work from while I was here during my stay. It was not clean and looked like no one had vacuumed it in days or weeks. There was a bloody Kleenex that had obviously been up someone's nose laying on the carpet and food wrappers and plastic utensils under the tables.||Having grown up in Stockton back in the 70s and 80's, this hotel sadly reflects the decline of Stockton as a whole. Decay and rot and everyone just sitting around watching it happen. Without a radical change in management and direction, this place will be closed in a couple years if not sooner or will be occupied exclusively by homeless drug addicts.

We came here from the Bay Area for one night (attended an event nearby in the early morning). Good location, quiet! Stayed on top floor elevator and luggage trolley made it convenient). Would definitely stay here again.
