We had to evacuate from Brooksville, Fl. during the Milton Hurricane. It was very hard to find a decent hotel along route 10 heading west. I finally decided this hotel seemed ok w/ most of its reviews. The location has a lot of nearby restaurants to choose from. The room was facing the woods so nice & quiet. Comfortable bedding & clean room. A/C worked quietly. Staff friendly.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Daphne Inn & Suites while evacuating from Hurricane Helene on 9/25/24, and our experience was an absolute nightmare. Around midnight on our first night, my wife woke up screaming in terror because a cockroach was crawling on her in the bed. This was a horrifying experience, especially after the stress of evacuating from a hurricane. We were both so shaken that we couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.

We immediately went down to the reception to report what had happened and to let them know we would be checking out first thing in the morning. Shockingly, the person at the front desk couldn't have cared less. He was completely unapologetic, acting like this was just another normal day at the Best Western. To add insult to injury, the general manager refused to give us a refund, despite the disgusting and traumatizing experience.

When we asked for the general manager’s name, the Black woman working the front desk refused to provide it and wouldn't even give us her own name. Instead, she rudely suggested that my wife and I must have brought the cockroach into the hotel ourselves! This level of disrespect and complete lack of customer service is beyond appalling.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs. Not only is it infested, but the staff clearly has no regard for guest safety or well-being. What a horrible experience!

Great experience with awesome staff!!! The breakfast was excellent! Ms. Marcia and Mr. Yusef made sure we had everything we needed. The housekeeping staff were so nice. The people at the desk were helpful and kind. Mr Willie even prayed with my family when we were having a hard time. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The hotel's location was excellent. The hotel and all its amenities were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were wonderful and fresh. Pool was clean. I will be choosing this location again when I travel back to the area.

Very nice property. Rooms were clean and quiet. All staff members were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast area was very comfortable, and food was hot and well-prepared.
Highly recommend as an excellent location and value if you are in the area.

Front desk was super nice. Hotel room was clean with the exception of the bottom of the shower curtain having mold stains. The next morning woke up to luke warm water while taking a shower that never warmed up. Did not eat the breakfast as there is a Cracker Barrel across the street that we chose, however it did look like a full array of breakfast options on display when we walked by the kitchen area. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay.

I had a pleasant stay at the Best Western Plus in Alabama. Despite arriving late, I was warmly greeted, and check-in was smooth. The room was comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing environment.||||The breakfast area was clean, and the food options were good, though the selection of fruit was lacking, and there were limited gluten-free choices. Overall, a comfortable and welcoming stay.

We checked in mentioned the third-party site pricing she complained she'd have to do a refund. We checked in, around 8:30 in the morning we got to knock on the door. Went to breakfast it was hard and horrible coffee was cold biscuits were crunchy. Went back to the room. Room service not the second time at 10:30. Check out is not till 11:00 and we had do not disturb on the door. We were not happy about our stay. We would not recommend staying here
